I plan vacations in legal states bc it’s hard to get where I live, so pointless going to Arizona in June and Colorado in July
Thought about driving to Michigan today to pick some edibles up but didn’t want to make the 2 hr drive….fuck these stupid laws.
Nebraska cops get off on busting people coming from Colorado. This is probably my favorite drug bust excuse https://www.npr.org/sections/thetwo...with-60-pounds-of-weed-for-christmas-presents
my crackhead BIL claims any mail under 16 oz isn’t checked. He’s also stolen from me and my wife doesn’t speak to him. HTH
luckily no one has ever fucked with me, but I never try to carry on a lot, and never flower carts and gummies only Everything in shaving kit, battery separate dropped in tray with phone. But I haven’t flown since pre covid so it might be diff now
Last time I flew we had to go through normal security. It was honestly pretty lax because of how busy it was. The agents were super on edge though but hard to blame them. I haven't flown pre-check since March 2020, but I've also only flown once since then.
I’ve used usps and ups. I like to think Usps is so budget fucked they aren’t checking shit. I’m also not sending crazy amounts. I recently heard about a buddy who was getting absurd amounts shipped to him. One package got intercepted and I forget what agency but they came to his house and questioned him. He denied any knowledge of it and nothing happened.
I plan on making a trip to Illinois soon, but I’m a little hesitant to buy flower. Am I being stupid? Mainly just paranoid about driving there specifically to go to the dispensary and just turning around and driving home.
I'm in a border city, I would guess more than half the customers here are from Indiana, no one sits at the state line waiting. You'll be fine.
There are towns in Washington that get like 70% of their business from Idaho residents and in Fort Collins you'll see tons of Wyoming plates in parking lots. Ohio, Indiana, Utah, Wyoming and Idaho really need to accept the inevitable and get on with it If you're mailing, you use USPS first class mail. Not FedEx or UPS
I love these jars. Very smellproof and can’t see through. Smell Proof Jar - Half Ounce Stash Jar - Smell Proof Container, Humidity Pack - Tall Black Airtight Odor Proof UV Ultraviolet Refillable Empty Glass Screw Top Lid Storage, Keeps Herb Fresh for Months
When I used to drive to pick mine up I’d just keep it in a old Ragu or Prego jar. The human nose can’t smell it, a dog would still be able too though.
Eh driving through super rural Nebraska or Indiana with California or Massachusetts plates and weed in the back is scary. And if you're a minority, I don't think you can worry enough
Completely agree if you’re a minority, I’m of the assumption most guys on here are honkey ass honkeys like me.
I’m tired of googling “oklahoma marijuana” every day. Will someone tag me when they do something. Can’t expect Texas to give me any cool freedoms any time soon.
I'm willing to bet they don't have the votes in the house or senate. Remember a ton of these people are still owned by Big Pharma. Weed legalization is their nightmare.
That's a little misleading. About 68% of the those who voted on the question voted for either of the initiatives. 73% of those who voted "yes" then chose Initiative 65. Only about 58% of the votes cast in that election voted in favor of legal medical marijuana. Mike Espy, the democratic challenger who endorsed initiative 65 got about 43% of the vote, so it very well could be that only 15-20% of the "pro" votes were republicans.
Well that's incredibly discouraging. Especially after 2020 brought so much attention to social justice issues
At Ohare, the weed amnesty dumpsters are past the security checkpoint, so no issue with flying home with it from there. In other words, fly to Chicago and drive to Michigan and stock up because Illinois prices and taxes are outrageous
