Received the Williams Strength incline bench that I won yesterday. This thing is a MONSTER. Might just sell my Rep flat bench and use this exclusively. hensleya Do you play well with the GGE guy?
Ran away to Houston when he knew I was gonna be the 242 king of MBB smdh Spoiler jk he’s strong and a great dude. Wanna see him total 2300 soon
What do you mean by this? I have a slingshot but pretty sure he’s partnered or owns Strong sleeves. Use slingshot for dips bc it’s way easier, decent product
This thing. I obviously need some sort of protective thing there seeing as I’ve torn both biceps from below my elbows in recent years. I’m not ever looking to throw heavy weight around again so looking for some sort of elbow sleeve to use for plate loaded machines, smith machines and dumbbells https://markbellslingshot.com/products/compression-cuff-2-0
I went straight from 585 to 635. I said fuck it. Didn't want to go over 6 before it and risk missing it. I didn't even think I could do it. First quarter it moved so I didn't quit
Need to test my back squat again. Last one was 405lbs and this week I hit easy triples at 325 that felt real light.
Sumo pull guys how wide is your stance? Some of the Insta famous dead lifters are so wide it triggers me a little bit. (Speaking specifically of the king or whatever guy who “pulls” like 700lbs but I don’t think can squat more than 315)
Those sumo guys that go so wide it looks like they’re going to drop it on a foot if they go an inch either way stress me out
I’m probably more narrow than most. My hips don’t externally rotate enough for me to generate a ton of power in that ultra wide stance. My shins are at the rings on the bar.
It’s going man! Getting excited. Fly out next Thursday. Gonna be a hell of a show I’m fortunate enough to be a part of. Craig Foster, Shane Haller, Patrick Macguire are gonna out on a show in the SHWs. Chloe Lansing at 148lbs is gonna outlift almost men on this planet. Super excited. Carrying some aches and pains on squats but they’re moving well. Had a hideous 551 from a technique standpoint but still moved like a heavy opener. Thinking something like 545 578 600-611 Pec is still messed up so bench is absolutely who the fuck knows. I honest to god may put enough icy hot to numb it then just YOLO. 308-347-YOLO Deadlift has been feeling good. Probably open at 600 then go 628 To chip a PR on my second like I plan to do with squat then see where I go. Hopefully 640-650
i tweaked my back a few weeks back during deload because of course i did. i must have been slack on the bracing and not getting the glutes firing during warmups. on a positive note i have been able to refocus on things and hit my top sets the past few weeks without inflaming my lower back any. also learned i can to belt squats at home with my landmine and plyo boxes. so thats let me get the bar off my back for accessory lifts.

Lmfao I had 5 sets of triples at 315 this morning and almost shit myself in the 5th set and quit Fucking 540 lbs sheesh
Perusing this thread for the first time, you guys are braver than me with these 600+lb pulls. currently trying to win a bet that I can bench my double my body weight. I’ve never done it before but I should get there by the end of the month, probably need to lose 10 lbs to make it work.
Bench responds pretty poorly to weight loss. I’d say just stay where you’re at and keep pushing strength
You’re probably right. Goal is to get to 175 to do 350, 370 just seems so much more daunting, but it really shouldn’t be.
In all seriousness, just move. Get 10k+ steps in, cat-camels, single leg hip thrust, air squats. Just unloaded movements to get blood in the area without fatiguing yourself
I’m not the lifter you are but lots of deep, slow tempo and paused body weight squats and Bulgarian split squats helped me last time I tweaked mine. I could actually feel where the hitch was in my movement that probably caused it and was able to address it and move and lift pretty normally in a really short time
