Thought that premiere was awesome Euron was awesome and funny in a good way The Hound scenes were incredible
He left Danny and then we don't know where he went, until that last scene with his arm out of the cell.
Haven't read this whole thread yet so not calling anyone out in particular, but so far on my twitter there's a few people doing the "Meh episode. Nothing happened." routine. It's like jesus, by the 7th season have you all not figured out the routine yet?
WTF would they care about Gendry? IMO - he's gonna try to kill John, Dani, Tyrion or the Sand Snakes. Lots of options
People still would support a Baratheon heir over her at this point. Plus she's wanted him dead for a while because he would have a good claim to throne. Also it seems a lot more attainable than getting any of those people. Those others are obvious, but hard to obtain. Very well could be as easily answered as just being Tyrion though.
IMO Gendry is pretty insignificant as a throne contender right now. We're way beyond traditional lineage rights. Especially for a bastard born to a whore.
I doubt anyone would support the bastard son of Robert who has no army, no leadership experience, who didn't even know his father. (Not to mention no one knows him at all) Not like Jon who was raised as Ned's son, just overthrew the Bolton's, and led the Nights Watch.
This is my first season watching since I finished the book I was pretty fucking smug about the symon silver tongue/gravedigger callbacks.
Tyrion doesn't make sense. If he could get Tyrion why wouldn't he just get Yara and Theon since they are in the same place? Daenerys is unstoppable right now. Euron and Cersei need to combine forces to even think about having a chance of getting anywhere near them (lol they dont). The more likely "gift" is Sansa. The north is distracted with the Knight King and they are not all that powerful. You got some brother/sister cousin hostility going on between Sansa and Jon and maybe Sansa runs away to pout and boom snatched up by Euron
