Wife is calling in the morning, we mentioned it to the vet after the first one and they told us to monitor it but it's happened 2 days in a row now
Does he fall over? Gus had that issue, and it turned out that he wasn't getting enough blood flowing to his heart
Just got back from vet. Vet thinks they are muscle tremors that are usually brought on by pain or anxiety. His bloodwork looked good and his heart and lungs sounded good, no obvious physical pain in their exam of him. Think it may be stress, and said if it got worse to see a neurologist.
Moose got stuck halfway into laying down. He legitimately sat like this for a full minute while I laughed my ass off.
Our foster doesn’t know how to lay down. It’s Superman pose every time. I think it’s because he loves to be able to finally stretch out. ...or drag his dong over my floors. Could be that.
its called the full sploot, favorite of male dogs everywhere. My dog used to do that on our tile floor, my dad called it "cooling his tool"
I call it the spatchcock, partly because it’s incredibly accurate, partly because the word makes me snicker.
I guess I am fostering a dog now. I was getting ready for work this a.m. and he jumped in my work van. About a 60lb male that looks to be a lab/terrier mix. Collar, no tags and took him to the vet and no chip. Have posted on Next Door but need to find him a place because I do not think the 3 male dog dynamics will work at my house.
Update: the very good boy’s name is Beau. His owner stopped by to get him out of my back yard and Beau had already jumped the 4” fence. At least now I have the owner’s number if I see him again.
Yes. I also told them that our vet will keep them until the owner can come get them if they are chipped. They just got him last week and said as soon as they find him they will go straight to the vet.
Have had it for 3 years and none of my 3 dogs have ever jumped out. I will let the owners of the dog that is escaping worry about a fencing solution for themselves though as they said he jumped over their fence and took off while they were outside with him.
Get a pet spider monkey. They instinctually eat fleas, lice and other bits of debris off of their pack for grooming and hygiene purposes. Then post all the pics here.
Update, Marlo has been adopted. Fuck fostering, this fucking sucks. It’s like a lesser version of losing a dog, but with a much shorter timeline.
Yeah, the potato-esque photography doesn't even capture the full effect. She'll let you do whatever you want but she doesn't have to pretend to like it. Rummy practically jumped into that elf suit on his own.
