I was standing on bar furniture last night after the game. I mean I knew I needed Atlanta to win something but didn’t how bad I needed it to happen.
Its hilarious the pushback this post got MA Yet the rest of the leagues fans will freak out at the transfer fees we will rake in + accompanying claims that Atlanta cant possibly replace the outgoing talent. (Because the League has never seen the business being conducted by Atlanta)
MLS season timeline is dumb and hopefully changes because now some transaction windows are open partially with lot of moves being made Rumors are Garza gone to make room for Bello. And Carleton missed the Cup Final to suspension from partying and posting it on his snapchat Friday night
had been operating in still fun buzzed mode, but I just ate and can feel the death counter ticking away now see you guys on the other side, I regret nothing
I was confused about how you get a star on the crest since I couldn't find any exact definition of how you earn it. I thought you may have had to win the supporters shield and MLS cup but evidently not.
"Martinez is not the same type of player as Almiron, however. Martinez is a true attacking winger who can move into channels and score goals, quite different to Almiron is is naturally a box-to-box central midfielder. Regardless, he’d even more quality in the final third for Atlanta United as they seek to build off an MLS Cup title-winning campaign."
More of a traditional 10 than Miguel. Not going to burn everyone like Miggy but looks like an excellent well rounded attacking midfielder.
Yea he doesnt have the wheels that Miggy has. But he is def more of a central cog in the attack. He was the focal point of everything River did. Took all their Corners. And River is the best team in South America. Only 25 yrs old but basically fully developed. Should be able to deliver from the jump. And obviously has big match experience.
We are getting the number 10 from the best team in South America in the prime of his career. It's a ridiculous transfer and we will be more than fine.
We have come a long way since the days of TMB soccer board questioning whether we should host World Cup matches and my favorite image from the Tata Era
That's pretty cool. I know a lot of non-Orlando fans hate us because of our quick success. Sounds like Portland fans knew realistically they wouldn't have a good chance in MBS.
