Max's Taphouse is a short walk in Fell's Point. Good spot and have Rar's stuff which I like. Fell's Point/Broadway Square is the best of Baltimore anyway IMO. Thames Street Oyster House is great and Riptide By The Bay is a bit of a dive but the crab cakes thump.
Fun fact, my friend bought $64 worth of Yuengling pounders to go from Max’s when UMD moved the PSU game to Baltimore in 2015.
Getting excited for my upcoming trip to Southern California. Staying in Anaheim Hills, should be a short ride to Bottle Logic, Breuery, and Breuery Terreux. Small chance of making it over to Casa. Any others in the Orange/Anaheim area that I should check out? Gonna go for at least a night down to SD to see a friend. He lives right down the road from the Moder Times Flavordome and some other good ones.
Doubt I make it to that part of the city but Monkish and Mumford would be high on my list if I was closer to LA proper.
I don't know that area at all. I just looked at a map and saw Monkish appeared somewhat close to Anaheim.
Yeah, there's no telling where all I'll end up but starting to plan/schedule stuff now. Going with my mom for some family reunion type thing so my excursions will be dictated/limited by some family activies. But I will have a rental car. Which I'm sure won't be a nightmare around LA.
Also there are a shocking number of homeless junkies near Mission Brewing and I’ve walked around the Tenderloin in SF
Yes, is is great. Was there last month. As crazy as it sounds, one of my favorite stops was The stone tap room right outside CF at petco. It was really chill and the bartender was great. We talked about beer for a couple of hours and he was really open about stone. Belching beaver and societe were great also Oh and bottlecraft in little Italy
Easiest one is the shop right next to The Bruery and Provisions in Old Town Orange are going to be the closest to you. How long are you in town for?
Got ya. Chapman Crafted is another good one that’s close. Avoid the breweries that within walking distance of Bottle Logic. Hoperazzi was ok, lady that owns it was nice. The closest one to Bottle Logic may have had the worst Hazy ipa I’ve had. Brocktoon and I each had a couple sips and bounced. Noble in Anaheim is alright, they seem to have dropped recently. Further away from Anaheim you have Beachwood in Huntington Beach for the production brewery, Seal Beach is the restaurant, Long Beach is the restaurant and brewery and next to that is the Blendery which is their sour program.
Little Fest on the Prairie was incredible. Drank all the Other Half and Casa. Only complaints I have are easy fixes, will go again next year
Running out of ice 1 hour into a 4 hour festival was pretty damn comical. But awesome festival and fantastic beers/breweries. Also, are there any Angry Chair fanboys in here? If so, absolutely we’ll done on contributing to that hype-train.
I will give them a lot of credit for setting up transportation though. McAlester is a pretty small town so there's no Uber and so they got the Sheriff's department to provide free rides to the hotels
But, even with the ice and food truck issue, I would go to that festival all the damn time with the quality of beer there. Ridiculous.

Not every cream ale tastes like Genesee. Imperial Horchata Cream Ale from Tucson’s Borderlands Brewing.
Jester King awesome as always. Different atmosphere than 2-3 years ago during the sour hay day but still awesome. Beer has not changed at all, still amazing. Added bonus, most 375s do not sell out release weekend and you can pick up multiples.
And they let me try Chocolate Rain. So fire. Got a nice flight of sours, ipas, an a coconut macaroon stout.
Dream! Do you go by often? I haven't been in that part of NJ in 5-6 years at least. I guess it's about time I plan a visit.

Was just at Evolution in Maryland, might go to Dogfish tomorrow to rough up Sam for the merger that affects me in no way whatsoever
