Early year 2 of my Sociedad save, didn't get much money despite making CL. Made a sale or two to raise some funds, and used my entire bank to sign Jude Bellingham for 23mil + 7mil after 50 appearances(I'll have the money by then). Biggest headache will be finding the money to pay for the Reguilon 17mil mandatory fee I got as part of the loan
You only get CL money after wins and then after the CL final some money gets divided up if you made it far enough.
I was more meaning the budget given from the board. Typically for your team finishing high enough to make CL, you’d expect a decently transfer budget
Seems like they did quite well when reading the article. predicting potential in 16-20 y/o probably isnt all that easy.
I was employment challenged for too much of 2011 and probably played that edition more than any other (steam confirmed) and it's such a nice feeling when one of those dudes pops up in real life.
Dusted off my Sparta Rotterdam save from FM19 and now have them I believe on 6 straight Champions League wins. Dragged the rest of the Dutch league along with me up to #3 in the Euro rankings so we get 4 group spots now. Ajax has been in the finals vs me 2 of the last 3 years so thats been good for the league. I think 3-4 years ago every single spot on the field was a wonderkid and my avg age was 20. Kept most of those guys, moved a few on and added some new guys but core is mostly intact. Got a new stadium built but they made it only 27k seats so only played in it 2 of the 4 seasons its been open because of expansions. Also the owner refuses to give me more than $1 mill in salary despite my ass man making more than that so that makes a ton of sense. They have like $600 mill in the bank.
Starting a save with Partizan for 21. Been trying to make things harder on myself my last few saves by restricting my recruitment, so this one will be focused on only taking players from countries that were part of Yugoslavia (plus Albania and Bulgaria cause I feel bad leaving them out).
How is 21? I put 200 plus hrs into 19 and about 50 into 20 I just feel the game doesn’t change enough from year to year to interest me
I've got 300 hours in 21 so far. The match engine feels better and I like the "ask agent about availability" feature. But other than that, it's all worse than 19/20 to me. I hate basically every interface change they made for this year.
pretty sure Touch 21 killed my iPad. The game crashed on my on game date Dec 6, 2026 a couple of weeks ago so I restarted, and it reverted back to a version from a 7 days before in the game, then when it got back to the same point it crashed again. I rebooted the iPad and tried again, and same thing. So then my iPad wouldn't reboot. Chatted with Apple Support, then had an appointment with Best Buy in which they told me it was hopeless to fix. Luckily it was work provided so I got a new one today, but now I'm scared to play any more
Post updates to this, please. I too play on a work ipad but ain't gonna upgrade to to 21 if this is goons happen.
My game knowledge remains relatively low and I couldn’t deal with the rejection from every player in existence and shot down for every board request because of being broke.
Damn. At this point is was thinking I should just wait until Nov. for FM22 but this might be too good a deal to miss
But wait! For anyone with more knowledge than me, can I buy and use this on my PC, or is it EU only https://www.cdkeys.com/pc/football-manager-2022-pc-eu-steam
Nah just recently got into 21. Killing it with Fredrikstad in Norway. Got them up 2 levels and now dominating Europe. Got Norway up to 4th in the coefficient now even so we get those 4 CL group spots. Suck it Germany. They gave me a son Michael in a recent intake and he sucked so I cheated and made him awesome. Now he is bitching about leaving and I might murder my own son. Throughout all this my owner still won't build a new stadium even though we're capped at 16k for CL games and could sell out 40-50k. Its just insanity. We have nearly a billion in the bank.
