Oh fuck off typical neighbor stuff is what I should’ve said but of course it would not have been alright either because I did not go perfectly with the flow here.
The key is you shouldn't understand that type of behavior, no matter the circumstances. The way you phrased it makes you look pretty shitty
you asked what did the black neighbors do as if there was anything they could have done to justify that behavior.
Neighbors get into stupid arguments all the time. But if the guy was arrested I am sure he did something bad. Great work by the cops
with one dropping multiple hard Rs? Also they obviously don’t live close to one another so he went out of his way to be a vile pos to fuck with them. Asking a question that appears to being looking for justification is a bad look
I would not go as far as to say that the cops did a great job, there’s been numerous complaints about this guy and they did nothing about it, even when he did it in front of the cops. I would give the credit to people in the community that forced the cop’s hands.
it was a shitty post by me, I did not know all the facts. Good that people are now comfortable making these things happen so the stupid racists are seen for what they are
I’m sorry and I’m not trying to be an asshole but if you couldn’t understand what was being said -calling them the n-word, telling the guy he should go back to Africa, etc. - then you really shouldn’t lead with “What did they do to cause him to harass them?” And it’s kind of bullshit that’s where you started imo.
I have to ask. Did people hear the story and show up when he got arrested or does he live in a mostly black neighborhood? That almost seems like public housing which is awesome if it is.
I thought the same thing. That's why the celebration at the end caught me off guard lol. Wasn't expecting the whole neighborhood to come out and definitely not expecting it to be mostly black.
People were showing up outside his house before he was arrested, giving out your address after going on a racist anti-black rant is not a smart thing to do at all, but doing that when you live within 30 minutes of Philadelphia and Camden is asking for trouble.
I have no idea how familiar you two are with it but nothing about that looks like public housing. It looks like a development of townhouses/apartments/condos . Secondly after he yells his address tells people to “ bring anyone and come see him” after constantly dropping hard Rs not sure why mostly black people going would be shocking. Also Beeds I assume it wasn’t your intent but it comes off as you’re saying because the crowd was mostly black it looks like he lives in public housing.
Yea looked like condos to me. I was just surprised by the mostly black crowd. I didn't think he'd be dumb enough to yell that shit in a mostly black neighborhood. No clue how it all went down. I assumed he was arrested shortly after the cops showed up and the other residents came out to celebrate. But maybe people from other areas saw the videos and came over between the incident and the arrest. No clue, just thought it was cool to see so many come out to see him get arrested.
I assume it’s people from the neighborhood and outside of it. I obviously don’t know the make up of the area but him yelling out his address and multiple hard Rs makes me believe a lot of people were willing to go see him. We often react more when we see something as personal and sadly I believe black people saw that more personally than others thus more showed up. All I am saying in a long winded way is that the crowd being mostly black doesn’t mean the neighborhood is.
The kid suing was the passenger. Driver evaded for almost an hour. Cops chased him, all over the driver not wearing a seatbelt…. Apparently they chased him through a residential area too
Oh and the passenger, according to the story, didn’t resist at all. Got out of the car once stopped, went to his knees and put his hands up
And yet cops, and the ignorant public, wonder why people of color want to pull over into well lit areas. Even when you try to comply, they still use excessive force. (I understand they didn't comply because the driver ran, but the passenger did everything he was supposed to. Would the cops rather him jump out of a moving car?)
This is local public housing and some of the older stuff. The newer stuff around here looks more like that. And of course that's not what I am saying. I was making a comment. I would think people would get I wasn't making that point. Damn
The kid was 16 when this happened last year. As a minor, they are using his initials D.C. instead of his full name. Or are you saying he’s even more of a victim because he lives in Baton Rouge?
I took the post I responded to as them thinking it occurred in DC. I was trying to say that victim was who they were referring to as DC
I literally said I didn’t think you were saying that. You know me and I know you. Sometimes we word things awkwardly and they get lost in the translation. The public housing I’m familiar with looks nothing like that.
Guys, Icculus is saying that the minor, identity withheld but referred to as D.C., has a no chase policy. He doesn’t want to be chased.

Premeditated murder. He fucking told him as much. He was under control and he still took the time and made the choice to kill him.
Holy shit. Kid can barely stand up and he's handcuffed at the precint surrounded by half a dozen cops... and was killed. That's not ok. Of course the fucking cops ruled their cop was within policy. Letting cops investigate cops doesn't work. He murdered that kid.
