and now that Twitter has gone full in on the right, good luck stopping this type of propaganda from spreading.
I’m confused. If the photo is even real, does she think groups of little kids are going to pick out tooth brushes and then seeing that stuff. Like if I took my kids to get a toothbrush and that was there, I would just tell them it was adult stuff and move on. Maybe, maybe if they were next to toys or candy she could potentially have a point.
There are people on this very site who finger wag me for saying we should drown people like this which tells me quite a bit about them.
Oh no! What’s next? Justices being held accountable for dark funding and possibly removed for lying during their confirmation hearings? The humanity!
Well Congress conveniently took all the time they could to refer their traitorous colleagues but at least they voted to release the fat man’s tax returns.
What the hell does “I can't comment on that specifically because we're still under the speech and debate clause” mean? The speech & debate clause means you can say literally anything with no consequences.
IMO, this is just the low hanging fruit. When accountants start digging into the detail and connecting dots on his businesses and illegal write-off's and relationships is when the story really gets interesting.
Indeed. It’s akin to a football team ending the game with 2 points instead of simply getting shut out. Somehow, it’s sadder and funnier.
The concept of someone sitting down and coming with a plausible number for a self proclaimed billionaire to pay in taxes and landing on $750 is deeply offensive and hilarious all at once
It's honestly crazy that someone could lose so much money. I wonder where it's coming from. Like the $85mil in losses have to be funded by debt, or something...
How much money is there to be made? Especially with Disney waiting in the wings to sue the shit outta you.
I'm always confused by people irl who are shocked that money is the only motivating factor. How did you become an adult and not realize this?
Money and who you know. My parents don't have money, but bc my sister is the lead ER doc at the hospital, dad gets in right away during his now bi-monthly trip
I’m not surprised that this is occurring, but I am taken aback by the lack of discretion. Have any of the healthcare people ITT seen something like this but more subtle?
I didn’t read the article (cuz no one does) but what you’re describing is common as a “professional courtesy” to skip the line
Every job I've ever worked in the "money makers" get preferential treatment. It happens literally everywhere
Being on the business development team seems like the best job. Get paid a nice salary to golf and eat/get drunk with prospective clients on the company dime.
There are literally people whose work is solely being a healthcare concierge to donors/prospective donors. Their work doesn’t necessarily take away from an organization’s ability to provide care to everyone else. BUT they are able to help navigate through the system. Having money helps in all aspects of life.
Probably late to the party here, as I would like to leave Twitter, but I use it for too many things related to sports and previously "reasonable people" politics. Since Musk took over I get bombarded with things that just depress me. Angry and lying fascist after angry lying fascist. All things I rarely saw before unless the person was being quoted. I FINALLY figured out how to get that crap off my feed without blocking. Click on the three dots and select "not interested in this tweet" for like 4 or 5 of them and suddenly feed is back to normal. It was literally depressing before I figured this out.
