Agreed. I've just always liked Brey, regardless of the success/failure of the program. Just a likeable dude from afar. Plus the fact that he's been the coach since I've been an ND fan.

 

I remember meeting him at some ND function in LA with my dad when he was first hired and he was really cool. I was in middle school. Crazy how long he was around the program

When he was early on here my dad and I were taking a trip to Boston and ND was playing at BC, tickets through ND were sold out so my dad dropped a note at the basketball office basically asking that he be contacted if any tickets were returned. Brey sent us 2 of his allotted tickets with a note thanking us for our support. I’m so glad he didn’t go to another school and screw up his legend further.
