I’m not gonna lie - when I listened to them in HS, it’s not like I was deep diving into the lyrics. It was just for the hard hitting vibes. However, somewhere along the way you start realizing what the lyrics mean. Its hilarious that all these people who are politically aware enough to dislike Morellos stances have never put 2 and 2 together from the music. The dumbest people.

I’ve had so many hilarious conversations like this w my boomer lib mom. She knows it’s some BS pejorative conservatives use but doesn’t know why. I explain how it’s a term black people used when people became aware of the inequality and systemic issues. Then we get side tracked on why is that even a thing? It’s very obvious and not some hidden knowledge. And even worse - how woke isn’t grammatically correct, as if that even matters. Cmon mom! Like the gender issues - she’s receptive to it all. My interpretation of Tim Pool’s tweet is if you suppress people’s views you’re a fascist, even if they’re nazis. Which is certainly enlightening.
I agree with Tim. We should not suppress people from letting us know they're fascists/nazis... so that they can more quickly be punched in the face.
