We beat uga and finish 12-1. OSU-13-0 FSU 13-0 Michigan-12-1 Oregon 12-1 Wash 12-1 Texas 12-1 Uga 12-1 who is getting in?
To rehash yesterday, if this happens are there still people that think we get in? OSU-13-0 FSU 13-0 Michigan-12-1 Oregon 12-2 Wash 13-0 Texas 12-1 Uga 12-1
Who would have ever thought that the cultured members of this thread from atlanta, namely Clown Baby and myself, would come out on the correct side of the milroe issue vs the racists from Alabama and Mississippi.
I still think it's more likely than not that one of UW, FSU, UT, OSU loses a game which is the basis for me thinking we win out and we're in.
I’m having a wet dream thinking about the thermonuclear meltdown of us getting in at 12-1 over 12-1 Texas after they sneak by several more games and we dump truck UGA
Sources tell BOL that Naas Cunningham - Southern California Academy - SF (on3.com) visit to Tuscaloosa went well this weekend. So well in fact that Bama is the leader for his signature — per the same source — with a decision likely coming sooner rather than later. This seems to have happened pretty quick but Cunningham got the red carpet treatment from Oats and the staff, and it made an impact per the same source. Very talented guy. We are working on more details. We will keep you posted. I've linked some video below. Very talented guy: “I'D DRAFT HIM NOW” 6'7 Naasir Cunningham Has NBA Scouts SHOOK!! - YouTube
I have no idea what is going on in here but I love you all. And that was a lot of fun. I almost logged in to bash the defense after that last TD in 1st half. Glad I didn’t. I think Reee and Jalen have finally figured it out. I know Jalen doesn’t want to be a running QB, but when you have that skill set, you’ve got to be. It takes this offense to a completely different level. I don’t think he’ll ever go through progressions at a super fast rate, and he may always miss some open guys in middle of field, but when he has a great arm and generally good accuracy. The touch on those two floaters were fantastic. I just want him to check a couple of reads, and if it isn’t there just get up the field. He’s playing with a lot of confidence right now. LSU’s defense sucks. I still expect he is going to have some head scratching turnovers at Auburn and against Georgia. But we can beat anybody in the country when he’s using his legs like this.
The fact that he aggressively stuck his foot in the ground and went upfield consistently makes me think it was made a very big priority during the off week. And he just had 4 quarters of success with it (and quite frankly looked totally comfortable doing it), which gives him tons of confidence in it moving forward. I don't care how bad LSUs defense is. Those openings have been there all season. If he's now looking for them and confident exploiting them? Look the frick out.
Watching back some of the game and Jalen has to keep looking to run, going forward. It could be almost unstoppable if he does. It’s pretty awesome because this is what we all envisioned it could be.

LSU had a bad defense that was depleted from injuries. So I guess one question is whether he had such a big night because LSU's defense sucks or because he's turned a corner with his decisiveness and confidence. Some of the podcasts yesterday were somewhat writing off what he did because LSU's defense sucks so bad and had key injuries. But if you've watched him every game like us , you can tell a difference in his level of confidence and decisiveness while running. So it will be interesting to see if he can do what he did against LSU to a defense like Georgia's or in the CFP. The crazy thing is he had an awesome game and he didn’t even connect on any of his deep shots. He was probably 0/4 on passes of 30 yards or more. I think the stat had been like 60% on deep balls prior to the game. So I wouldn't count on him to keep missing those if I'm an opposing defense. If he can run like that and hit some bombs, he’d be unstoppable.
Kentucky plays pretty physical don’t they? Our guys need to be ready for that and not sleepwalking at 11:00am.
Davis blew up against Florida (280 yards) but he’s otherwise just been a pretty solid runner. Over his last two games (UT, MSU) he has 37 carries for 112 yards. Leary has also been up and down all year with his one legitimate performance against UT (28/39/372/2/0). I think what they want to do plays into exactly what we want to do defensively. I’m not saying this game is going to be a runaway, and we’ll likely slog through things here and there, but it’s hard to see a path to victory for them against who this team is now.
Agree with Owsley . If anything, I could see our offense taking a while to get moving after a big win and early start on road. But, I think what Kentucky wants to do on offense plays right into our strengths.
I would imagine this week of practice will be brutal. Have to bring everyone back down and avoid sleepwalking into Lexington
Leary has not been near as good as I thought he would be in their offense. They run it fairly well and I thought they’d be much better in play action but they appear to only be able to run against really bad teams. I think we get to him early and often.
Some randoms: Our halftime coaching the past few games has been damn near perfect. The team as a whole is discovering how good the can be. Everyone is building on their pervious success, no one more than Milroe as he has made huge strides. The stadium was loud and crowd engaged the entire game. This was my first night game since the lights and I thought it was all pretty cool and it added to the environment.
