The biggest reason season 1 was great was because of the cast. We'll see if this cast can come close to that.
I remember kind of initially being disappointed at the ending of the first one. Not satisfied with the mystery but in rewatches I realized that was never the point of the show anyway. It's all about Rust and Marty.
Have only ever watched season one of this show. Rewatching it now. It's so damn good McConaughey is impossibly hot in the scenes outside the interview room
Season 2 was so bad I almost didn't watch 3, which would have been unfortunate bc 3 is very good. But 1 is by far the best one and won't be topped
Pretty cool with it taking place in Arkansas as well with the places they go and whatnot. I found it pretty funny with the empty Hugo’s restaurant. That place is always wall to wall packed.
Yeah he was really good in it. That scene just always stuck out to me because it was brutal. “If you ever bully my kid again I’ll butt fuck your dad with your mom’s headless corpse right here in front of you”
this was me, in terms of it felt like this huge build up that didn’t really lead to much - I haven’t done a rewatch but would prob be on your wavelength if I did
Season 2 was so bad that I don't think I ever finished it. Never even started Season 3, was it decent?
Pretty sure the first season was 8 and honestly they probably could’ve shaved 1 one out by shortening or eliminating certain parts throughout
I'm very confident in my theory so I'll spoil it Spoiler The water has made people hallucinate and act out, and the research station was either the cause of it or began looking into it. Whatever they were looking at conflicted with whatever the mine was doing. Annie K either began to infiltrate the research station or was working with them
this is really good and explains much of that first ep in semi-plausible manner similar to what season 1 did
