Can’t wait for him to decide he wants to be back on the field, unretire, turn a team around, fire off at the mouth and then retire again after claiming his seizures prevent him from coaching for the 4th time.
Don't know about the rest of them, but the guys I knew that played OL at Vandy under Hand had nothing but good things to say about him. They were pretty upset when he followed Franklin to Penn State.
As I read the name I thought, no way, can’t be the guy I’m thinking of- he can’t still be alive. That next sentence confirmed that it is in fact him and he is in fact still alive. God bless em.
Also would like to believe that Northwestern Oklahoma state’s mascot is a cowboy wildcat because it would make sense and be awesome. Perhaps only rivaled by the pop tart.
Who got a DC for Coach Prime? /Randy Shannon\ shield Al Harris? Charlie Strong? Jk but we really do need one
a man with this kind of late 80s swag gear should be allowed to coach as long as he damn well pleases.
Guys going across the middle and it was completely legal to launch yourself at him while he's looking the other direction
Y’all need to forfeit the rights and trademark on this little fella to Glanville and co. He’s too good to not be a primary logo.
He’s been pretty bad everywhere since PSU, and he probably gets too much credit for what he did there based on the err, umm…situation he inherited there.
If Bill O’Brien gets hired and is handed the reigns of the entire offense I hate the hire If he’s basically just getting the OC title and being used to train Hartline and take some of the tedious parts of offensive game planning off of Day’s hands I don’t mind it. As a QBs coach he can’t be worse than Corey Dennis
He doesn't seem to matchup with what Prime has said he's looking for. I'm pretty excited to not see Kelly screaming bloody murder all game long.
He really struggled with two things here - understanding tempo and running a bunch of stupid option routes that wound up with 3 receivers all within a 5 yard area. He’s also among the most stubborn of coaches and has never been wrong. Seems like the college game has completely passed him as an OC. I think he’d be fine as a CEO type, but that would seemingly be a weird pairing with Hartline.
I don’t think Hartline really did much as an OC. Or he did the first few games and they took it away from him
I noticed that and I guess it’s a sign of the times? Nobody wants a trigger warning with their cowboy wildcats I don’t know.
