The fact that I’m still a fan after we drafted Justin Shaffer over Jamaree Salyer goes to show I can take a beating and will not quit
We'll still take a QB in this draft, right?. I don't think anyone believes Ridder can be developed into an NFL QB even learning for two more years behind Cousins.
I love the continued commitment to being stuck in football purgatory. pick 14 here we come next year.
I'd say there's a real-deal chance we're at least getting blown out at home this year by Philly or Dallas in the Wild Card round, so that's pick 19 at the earliest
The price on Mooney is a bit high but I think the front office is in a position where they need to pay a little more to guarantee getting an experienced player. Mooney outperformed our #2 WR last year and we might be in a better position this year than the Bears were last year so I'm sure he will put up better numbers.
Like the Cousins bridge deal but still not Super Bowl contenders, but still curious if we can get Fields for a 4th/5th rounder. Without a late round QB this year, seems we're likely picking a QB in the 20's next year.
Seems like the falcons are of course going to get played by the jaguars/Ridley. From the start I didn’t totally understand the extension piece and what incentive the jaguars could possibly have of extending him during the season
Still got a 3 for a guy that was never going to play for the franchise again. Wouldn’t call it getting played
Pitts runs so much out of the slot he's is pretty much a de facto one, so there's probably a little flexibility on receiver type than usual. But definitely have to take one. That link above about the Rams being the most 3-wide team in the NFL and the Falcons being the least last year was the same in 2022 as well. Minnesota was top 10 in Cousin's last healthy year too. Pass rush at 8 and McConkey or Coleman in the 2nd would be
Go defense early and use the 2 3rds on skill players. We can probably get a really good WR still and a backup QB
