I saw a mock where we picked Penix at 8 If we take a QB, I would be good with Rattler as one of the two 3rd rounders we have. Not too expensive.
That mock must have been made in Feb and never updated it, or they were projecting a trade and didn't update the team name. Even for this regime, there is a zero percent chance they take a QB at 8 after just sinking 100 million guaranteed into another. I don't see a point of taking a QB at all this year, especially an older one like Rattler, when you've tilted such a giant part of the cap into Cousins for the next 2-3 years. Just have a decent backup and take one next year.
