Stuck accelerators was like a massive story for Toyota before https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/2009–2011_Toyota_vehicle_recalls
I’d love to travel back in time a bit more than a decade and deliver this list with an explanation as to why they’re on it to Rowling, Maher and Chapelle to see how they’d react to their trajectories. And so weird that he’d keep the South Park guys on there despite their inclusion going against the format of links to their profiles. He clearly has a crush on them but I don’t think the feeling would be mutual.
The Tesla boys being such little bitches that they’re unwilling to take in information that is critical about a company who they’re trusting their lives with every time they drive their car is COMPLETELY NORMAL BEHAVIOR.
a normal reaction would be to take that piece of shit back to the dealer and never buy that brand again but alas, they still love their cybertrucks
It’s astounding just how much of a loser this guy is. For my next car, I would have at least considered getting a Tesla if he had just kept his mouth shut over the last few years (all the recalls and spontaneous combustions would have kept me from getting one in the end). Now, I wouldn’t even be able to ride as a passenger in one without feeling slightly embarrassed.
Alienating a segment of the population where they don't even want to be seen in a Tesla is just 300 IQ business genius stuff
Saw my first Cybertruck in the wild this weekend. It was uglier than I could have imagined from pics and my wife who pays no attention to current events was appalled. Thought about pulling up next to the guy to point and laugh but decided not to be a douche
Gave a friend a ride home from book club last night. She and her husband have two Teslas and a BMW I3. She made sure to let us know that they'd bought the Teslas before 2021, before they realized what Elon really was, and they wouldn't buy one again because he's such a toxic POS
This is Elon’s pathetic attempt at coping and coming up with an excuse to explain why Twitter isn’t attracting new users. He’s going to try and blame it on people being poor rather than coming to terms that everyone hates him other than his “Deplorables”.
said a million times before, but it is astounding how you click on any viral tweet, and the first 100 replies are all bots or awful blue check mark chuds spouting off the worst possible takes. it used to be the funniest, most useful reply was at the top.
I only remember Ford’s Jim Farley because I saw him somewhere and thought “He looks like Chris Farley - I wonder if they’re related?” Turns out they are. And I remember that.
Good friend of mine got hit in the Tesla layoffs today. Really sucks to think he’s losing his job because Elon decided to shitpost his reputation into the fucking gutter
"Charging for blue checks will fix the bot problem" *bot problem gets worse* "Brand new idea! We will charge for creating a new account! This will fix the bot problem." Can't wait to see how this goes
The one thing I used to concede while arguing with Muskrats was that he was competent with accumulating capital with his preexisting capital (which isn’t even impressive) but he can’t even do that anymore. It feels very dystopia like that a segment of the population believe Elon and Donald are the two most business savvy people on the planet.
Elon knows more about engineering and manufacturing than anyone ever. So ramping up production should be easy. Wait, I'm getting an update. Tesla has never reached the productivity level they need to to meet their back log. Well, seems like a skill issue.
I'm a billionaire I can fix Twitter. And I'll do it for you for very low annual rate of $120. Thank you Lord Elon. Put please shit in my mouth first.
You wake up to an email from your boss, literally the richest man in the world, laying you off https://electrek.co/2024/04/15/tesla-lays-off-more-than-10-of-its-global-workforce/ You go on twitter to see if he's made a plan or statement
