Could you imagine the complaining Booker would do with all the double teams playing 30+ 10 year olds?
God damn that’s awful. Also the French being racist gutter trash really ain’t surprising at all, they’re better at hiding their hatred for blacks than the Italians. That’s really the only difference between the two
considering historically so many of their great athletes have been black and Arab, i find french racism almost more offensive
I agree but Mitch Richmond is a Hall of Famer with a career resume of 6x All Star 5x All NBA (no 1st teams) 21 PPG / 3.9 RPG / 3.5 APG won 1 ring with the Lakers in the final year of his career playing 10 MPG with the Basketball Hall of Fame the conversation goes straight to "Will he get in given who else has been inducted?" compared to "Does he deserve to get in?" like you'd get with baseball or somewhat football
i wonder if michael cooper getting in is gonna finally be the last straw for this gotta be a breaking point sometime, right?
that one is more of an NFL style vote where someone gets credit later on for being part of a dynasty 8.9 PPG / 3.2 RPG / 4.2 APG but made 8 All Defense teams (5x 1st team) and won a DPOY He's basically the guard version of Draymond's career but with much less of a peak and Dray is beyond a lock to get into the HOF
now we're getting into Bill Laimbeer territory 2 Titles with the Pistons 3 Titles as a WNBA coach 2 time WNBA COY
The baseball hall of fame is insanely stupid. Their purpose is to honor the game and its contributors and I think someone like Blake is exactly the kind of borderline case you honor because of his value in growing the game with his play.
I was in a hipster coffee shop this morning surrounded by 7 foot Croatians and they were whispering that Vlade Divac is better than Jokic and deserves a bigger HOF bust
he introduced blatant flopping to the mainstream American basketball audience so file that under "contributions to the sport"
Factoring in that anybody who wins MVP will likely make the HOF, and also factoring in the Olympics, how many seasons will Wemby need to play to put himself in the category of probable Hall of Famer?
He’s gonna need some help in the winning department before he passes any of the usual suspects for MVP.
Given how much consideration he’s already getting this season, it’s pretty hard to argue otherwise. If I had to guess, year 4 is the first time he’s a legit MVP contender. There’s just not a whole lot in the immediate cbb landscape to move the SA build along in a big way. It’s not outlandish to think he draws free agent/trade interest from guys becoming available in coming summers though.
