In line at Kuhnhenn but's 20 degrees here so sadly no pics of girls in short shorts. I could come up some photos of dudes in camo and caraharts if any of you guys are into that kind of thing. Also they finally announced their "special secret release" today, it's the Raspberry Eisbock
If they can Marshall Z I will have everything I need in a brewery. Gonna make shipping much easier as well
Found a place that had Hopslam, but it was sold out of course. So is this beer seasonal? If so, when does it get released and is there any chance I could find some before next winter. This thread has me completely intrigued.
it is seasonal, typically released the 2nd or 3rd week of january. i'm sure it's still out there in some places, but going to be tough to find in general at this point straight from a store. usually sells out the first couple days, if not the first day, that it hits shelves
Well today officially sucks. Had today circled for a month on my calendar for KBS ticket day. Was in a group ECON study session all morning with my phone turned off. Missed the alert and completely forgot. Didn't get a ticket. Sorry to everyone I promised KBS to. FUCK! Above statement is not a joke.
I feel terrible for about 5 million reasons. I will be checking any secondary market and can make about any day work if I have too. Soooooo pissssed right now. Michigan mad is an understatement.
Don't feel bad, you probably wouldn't have got any anyways. Tickets sold out in less than 2 minutes. Then the site crashed. Later the posted more but those sold out in about 5 minutes too. I tried at 11:01 to get Friday tickets and they were gone.
Yup. No matter how bad someone messes up on here with a trade. It will always be. At least it wasn't as bad as the time everyone was counting on buckets for their KBS and he completely shit a brick. Haha.
Hey man I know I said I was going to donate you one of my kidneys so you could live but then I buckets'd and now you're dead. Sorry.
Also, just put in one of your O'Dempsey's Your Black Heart Russian Imperial Stout in the fridge that I had reserved for you.
Thanks buddy. Haha. It shouldn't be a complete loss. I have about 5 places that I can get craft beer from. If each of them lands me a 4 pack I'll be back in business.
Just checked it out. Whoever did the officially sold out post wasn't too bright. Just a wide open door for more backlash. I think the name Should have to match the ticket to prevent this crazy resale going on eBay. I really liked how Great Lakes did it. $35 for a ticket. Get to try some different aged versions of blackout and then buy up to a case of blackout stout. Seems like founders could do a Friday and Saturday version of that. hell, maybe sell the tickets for $50. It would cut out all the people who don't care and are just buying for the heck of it.
Was it brownpapertickets? That's what Alesmith uses for their special releases, and its worked pretty well the times I've used it. Either way, these things shouldn't be that difficult to figure out.
