Well shit. A non-rooted S6. That sounds pretty cool, though. I read somewhere about someone hoping for Xposed to be available for 5.x, had no idea what that meant. Thanks.
Not sure about RC but Gravity box, YouTube adaway, YouTube background playback, Snapchat colors, and Pandora patcher are all working for me. Those are the ones I use.
is the expectation that this unofficial build will get 'approved' and 'merged' by the main xposed dev? or is it that the main xposed dev will copy over elements from this unofficial build? I ask because I want to wait till the working xposed is in the 'main/master' branch of code, as opposed to using an unofficial port which may not receive future support.
The dev wants to make it stable on 5.0.x before working on 5.1.x so you'll be waiting awhile. Seems pretty stupid to me.

My n6 isn't getting all of my text messages. It's hit or miss, but I randomly fail to receive about 25% from multiple iphones. I'm on t-mobile. Thoughts? Factory reset, rma, or new sim? ETA: I just saw a potential fix to disable volte. I'll try that first.
Just found the "ignore" function for group texts on Messenger. Making the permanent switch from Handouts now.
S3 4G LTE is out of memory, even though I have 4 apps from the store and every other bloatware's updates uninstalled and turned off My phone is slow and I am still in contract for a 3 months My best bet is to root, correct? If so, what is a reputable tutorial to follow?
from what i gathered im running 4.4.2 schi535 i guess because i updated to 4.4.2, im stuck using towelroot and safestrap am i correct? also, sorry i dont know the jargon to this
Not sure about that. My understanding with the cm installer with the s3 and s4 was that it was a pc based app that literally did everything for you, from unlocking to rooting to flashing cm. This obviously goes beyond just rooting, but rooting alone probably won't help you much imo Just go to the cm installer site to see if the s3 is compatible.
Nah, a good company doesn't need any blocks. They would just have a mobile wifi setup outside of the corp network.
5.1.1 for the Nexus 6 is out for those running the 5.1 LMY47M build. Brings wifi calling to those on T-Mobile. http://www.androidpolice.com/2015/0...-is-rolling-out-now-on-t-mobile-build-lyz28e/
Any idea how hard it is to port wifi calling to ATT? Not like I'm going to do any dev work, i'd just kill for that since reception at my work is shitty and I'm not switching plans anytime soon bc im grandfathered in unlimited everything from the year 2000, so I'm never going to get a plan this good.
Using the cast screen feature on lollipop for the first time, this is way smoother watching videos than chrome to chromecast
Yes. Thanks. Want to be able to flash shit on my next phone and Verizon locks their bootloaders on their phones.
Nexus devices I would imagine come with some guarantee from google that they can't be locked. I'd also like to reiterate how much i love my nexus. Need to get wireless charging pad.
I did, I thought, a fairly thorough search and couldn't find a definite answer. There were several articles questioning whether it would be unlocked, before it released.
Yeah, screen mirroring on lollipop to chromecast. I'll play torrented movies on my phone and looks almost 1080p on TV, smooth framerate. Iz nice.
A ton of new Android info leaking today in advance of IO announcements probably. The biggest one being two new Nexus phones this year (and no tablet). http://www.androidpolice.com/2015/0...ler-and-a-5-7-inch-huawei-code-name-bullhead/ Sounds like the 5.2 inch LG nexus will be my next phone.
New update guarantee, 2 years for OS and 3+ for security. Not sure what that really changes. http://www.androidpolice.com/2015/0...e-with-an-update-guarantee-for-nexus-devices/ New photos app http://www.androidpolice.com/2015/05/24/an-exclusive-early-look-at-the-new-google-photos-app/ M stands for Macadamia Nut Cookie internally at least, expected change at release. Nexus Player drops to $79. Might mean a new gen coming.

how do I store apps on my LG L9 it is has so little internal storage I have an 8GB sd card do I have to root it? can I do it at all?
I "fixed" my Google services issue. Apparently there's an issue with CM based roms and certain gapps packages. I just flashed a asop rom and all is well.
The Verge reviewing the old photos app and thinking it's the new one is one of the best things I've ever read.. http://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/37n4mu/the_verge_just_reviewed_the_old_google_photos_app/
Anyone getting the new cardboard? I'm ordering the one with the headstrap and am ready to be wowed. https://www.unofficialcardboard.com/collections/all/products/2-0-plus?variant=3087730945
Not really android related but had nowhere else to post this... Just started a migration on 2.3 million emails to a new Google Apps domain. Fingers crossed. Amazing that Google offers all of this for free to education institutions. I have over 900 accounts on this domain and they all get 100GB of of Drive storage for free.
It's been a long time coming. We've been using Communigate for email for the last 9 years (damn I'm getting old), and it's worked great. But everybody wants their email on google. I'm ok with it now that Google Vault works how I want it to. Email was always one of those services that I really wanted on-site, but I guess I can change my ways with some things.
