Making the transition to 7on7 after the war on football and head injuries. One step ahead of the curve.
Some folks on the 247 board were asking Morrell and saying they’d seen reports UGA was now the leader for him
Looks like Tyler Friday to osu on Friday. He was a top target for Michigan for like 3 years, and a top target for osu for like 2 months. Our recruiting is fucking horrific.
“Couldn’t qualify at um is another common excuse now being reused by um fans. Michigan has such holier than art thou qualification standards that we admitted Jeremy gallon and Marques fuck lion slocum.

They want scholar athletes who win student athlete awards. Michigan has plenty of talent, but successful programs today run their teams like semi-pro teams. They are preparing for big games while teams like Michigan are preparing for tough tests. We will continue to send guys to the NFL because they have the talent, and they will even flourish there because they put the text books down and pick up playbooks. We will get back to a Lloyd Carr type of team with Harbaugh.. Only difference is that since Lloyd departed, MSU has decided that they want to win, and does whatever it takes, and OSU has done the same thing, probably around the time that Tressel got there. It appears that PSU might now be on that same track. They will go on bragging about Conference champs and playoff appearances, and we will go on bragging about how great our academics are!
This is brililant. Is this guy arguing that: A) Michigan doesn't win big because they try to keep games close so they are prepared for tough tests B) Michigan doesn't win big because of the emphasis they place on academics C) Both

The sky isn't falling yet, and even if we strike out on Petit Frere, Reese, and Friday, I still like our team. This recruiting class is much better than the patch together job Harbaugh had to put together in Hoke's wake. Its nice to have top 100 ranked players, but I'd rather see us with top 100 workers.
A gentleman’s agreement... hot - Replies: 33 - Views: 1323 - Started By: Josh Newberg +6 from 8 users Josh Newberg 55301 posts 2 hours agovia MobileVIP I’m told an agreement was made when Frey left Michigan that he wouldn’t pursue Nicholas Petit-Frere. Now if Mike Locksley joins the staff.... I can’t say the same agreement will be in place. Locks was the primary on him and recruited the Tampa area for Bama. Even though FSU is on the outside looking in right now there’s a chance they could get in the race
Just means Taggart has more Al Golden in him then you guys realize, since Golden was cool with some similar bull shit with Coley and FSU when it came to recruiting Matthew Thomas and Denver Kirkland.
There was talk about that same agreement with jimbo with our committed kids, but I have no idea how that works in practice. It's not fair to deny a kid if there's a good established relationship with a coach.
I don't know where to put this, but the percentage of people who choose to be college football bloggers who are absolute fucking dorks has to be near 100.
Where's this kid going to end up? He had one of the worst AA game performances I've ever seen but his frame/build looks like he should be great
Or it means Newberg is making shit up. Later on he posted that he expects FSU to still recruit the kid.
Tough times for Wiltfong. Spoiler https://247sports.com/Player/Tyler-Friday-86311 https://247sports.com/Player/Javontae-Jean-Baptiste-46038508
