Don’t think there are any fat MLS reporters because the only ones that cover MLS are former players. Only chubby USMNT guy I can think of is Ley but he can’t be anyone’s enemy, he’s a saint.

Barca isn’t in the champions league so I’m not sure why they are relevant to the discussion of seeding the final 8 teams based on a ranking. Someone said that was a dumb suggestion because Bayern isn’t top 2 in the rankings of the teams that are left when in fact they are. If you want to shit on the rankings I won’t get in your way but to say he was wrong about how they would be seeded if they used the rankings is ill-founded.
I never said it was for this round or of the clubs left. I said that in the rankings he wants to use where he’s saying for the entire competition there were 2 clear top teams, he wanted to use a system that didn’t even have those 2 clubs as the top 2 clubs
Well until the quarters there’s already guidelines for who can and can’t play who. It isn’t until now that it’s wide open. And we don’t necessarily know who the top clubs are until around this point. I think he even mentioned that in his tweets.
think Shaun was just saying the idea of an “objective” ranking that suggests the importance of a team that is a country mile from top 2 by sniff test or qualifications is dumb and funny when you claim to want a draw that puts the best teams in the final
Thank you. Maybe I didn’t properly articulate my point but most seemed to get it. That’s without even getting into how open it is to corruption for an organization that’s seen plenty of it with the suggestion of a committee to decide this
