at least you have a base area to work with ND has Indiana, Cincy, and what’s left of the barren wasteland of Chicago football
yeah they are visiting on their own, can’t have any contact with staffs but if we have come that far I don’t see how in the next 6-8 months they couldn’t implement contact with the staffs on campus
Basketball and Baseball are kings out there, still some talent and its honestly now kind of underrated. Forever Chicago was overrated Indianapolis and Cincy are by far better metro areas to recruit
I'm not aware of this happening yet for any ND targets, supposedly this kid is going to be doing that soon and its the first I've heard of it. Think he's going to Ann Arbor as well
They should just push back signing day to end of March. If a vaccine becomes available, this class could visit during spring practice/spring games. Normal students don't have to decide until April, no reason why football players should have to in this case.
The low ranked OL commit for UM (Tristan Bounds) who talked all that trash about wanting to defeat Ohio State in football visited both Michigan and Notre Dame before committing, I believe.
Interesting Virtual Combines Penn State is moving forward with Virtual Combines – another excellent way for recruits to get in front of coaches by measuring hand width, height, weight, etc. without ever having to leave the house
“Make sure you’re ONLY wearing your underwear in order to get the most accurate measurements of your hands.”
Worthy and Franklin. Which sucks because we like both and didn't start really recruiting either until a few months ago and we never got to get them on campus because of quarantine.
we've got Ritzie joining the crew tomorrow class is almost full so the Mack'n is gonna be in cruise control for a bit
I also expect JF to be out the door as soon as one of these top southern teams want him. Maybe USC if Helton shits the bed. Don’t think he can win a natty at PSU and that’s his dream
I doubt he wins one anywhere unless he somehow improves his coaching ability. We don't even have to go back further than the Cotton Bowl for that ridiculous time out at the end of the first half that gifted Memphis a field goal.
Gene Chizik, Larry Coker, Ed Orgeron He can recruit and hire assistants well enough with an unlimited budget to do it
If Uncle Phil opened up the check book. He could run the Pac12 and not have to deal with all the bullshit that comes with being a college coach in the South/SEC. Plus most people would probably rather live in Eugene than Alabama.
What bullshit comes with being a college coach in the south/SEC that doesn’t come with any other major job?
