He came back to prove he could be a #1 corner instead of just a great slot corner; he played terrible all year.
The opposite of the UK tweet you posted. Borderline 1st rounder who came back and hurt his draft stock versus a 4th rounder coming back and bolstering their position.
only OSU game I watched iirc was the Bama game and he looked like he was running in cement trying to guard smith
but then again Smith did that to everybody so I didn’t put much stock in it
he got abused by nearly every player who had nfl talent he went up against.
Should be a good way to judge prospects.
Like Smith vs Stingley ... oh wait
Interestingly, if the starter didn’t have a stroke last year, Davis wouldn’t have played a ton.
also, Davis and bossman fat in the first round?
is Kentucky an elite nfl producer now? People are asking.
This doesn't seem like the kind of endorsement you're looking for from a coaching staff when you're thinking of taking a player in the top 30-40 picks.
What about where they are (Lance being the 12th overall prospect, etc)?
loading up on fields plz
You laughing at Pitts or no OL for the first 3 rds?
Can't believe he fell to us in the draft
Basically everything after Pitts. The Johnson pick especially makes no sense.
At least you didn’t take a QB
Admittedly this is probably a lot of wishful thinking on my part but I just still dont believe the Bengals will pass on Sewell.
Like 100 lesser OT prospects went top 20 last year and now the best OT prospect in a while is gonna drop to 8 or whatever? I'd be surprised.
I like this scenario. Fields gets sent to a competent organization, the Dolphins pass on Pitts (just for the lulz), and Rosseau fits in really well with Cleveland.
Wade isn't an outside corner but he could be a pretty good nickel or FS.
Just bc this draft is deeper on the line, still way way easier to find WRs, think it should just be who the Bengals think better prospect is and if equal, go Sewell
Don’t see how the Bengals take anyone but Sewell, similar to Tampa Bay taking the tackle when they had Evans and Godwin at WR, than adding pieces
Yeah I'd love Sewell in Miami myself under normal circumstances but we just desperately need a playmaker on offense. Parker is solid but never healthy. Gesicki is OK. After that it's just a joke.
Not so fast. We might need two or three more behind that line.
I’ve heard a few of the “experts” say they’d have Sewell behind all four of the big OTs from the 2020 draft. Not saying I agree with it by any means, but I’ve heard some of that chatter ever since his athletic testing wasn’t generational or whatever some expected it to be.
His tackling in the playoffs didn't look like the kind of thing you'd want out of a safety.
LT is such a premium position, its hard to envision one not going top 5. There wasn't anywhere near a consensus order on the 4 from last year so who knows.
Not if you draft Sewell in the 1st and Wyatt in the 2nd
In hindsight, Wirfs is the #1 OT this year but as prospects I think people are just being contrarian for the sake of it to say Sewell wouldn't be a top 10 pick at least last year. What he did at his age is rare.
He won the Outland/was the best OL in college football the season he was 18, that’s insane. Would be interested to know the second youngest to ever win the award.
Article about guys who opted out. NFL scouts and front office types are such jackasses
Are you a team player? Well why did you opt out of the season?
I’m sure it’s Stephen ross
Someone (Tony Pauline maybe?)definitely reported it was the Fins.
Considering how QBs are valued in the league I think Lamar at 32 is worth being on there. 5th QB taken at 32 and winning an MVP year 2.
Tyreek wasn't so much a steal as he had a shit load of baggage and the Chiefs took a chance. Dude choked out and beat up his GF. If he didn't run a 4.29 he wouldn't have been drafted.
I'm pretty sure the chiefs got a lot of flack for taking him.
I hate Florio so much. He basically created a story so he could make sure to let people know what side he's on about kids sitting out.
The more people who dislike Florio the better.
It was overlooked but just last week he wrote an article implying that the massage therapists who released their names and say that Watson didn’t sexually assault them somehow refute the claims of the alleged victims
It's in the PFT bylaws that Florio must write at least 3 stories a month to remind people he was once a lawyer, even if the things he says make no sense.
Im frankly surprised NBC Sports let him publish it. It’s a bad look
Jim Nagy has been getting owned on Twitter today and it’s great because he is a human fucking hand job
what he do this time
basically declared racism is over
I couldn't believe Eddie Jackson was projected, and ended up going as late as he did.
