Whatever the stated valuation is for any player, Brazzo will initially offer 10-20mil below that. He does it every time. At least he learned from the Hudson-Odoi debacle and doesn’t talk about it in the media anymore.
Lol that was my first thought too. Gnabry just turned down €19 million a year, so wtf knows what he’s going to do
A replacement is already on the roster. Luis Diaz. So doubt they need to have a new transfer lined up before selling Mané.
Diaz was not a mane replacement according to reports. At the time diaz was brought in they anticipated resigning sadio
True. But he can fill the role if need be. So I was just saying they don’t need a deal in place with Gnabry or have another transfer lined up before selling Mané. That said, I def doubt they settle or stand still.
Hard to blame him. Never really bought into the recent chatter considering talk two months ago it was done.
If the price is right he’ll be a Milan player. He’s already told Newcastle his preference. Just a matter of if we pony up to pay the fee
Why you got to be going and inflating Bellingham's price like that? That ain't very Christian of you.
The moment he was born in Fuckinghamshire or whatever stupid ass place he’s from he was always going to cost 40% more
“Player only wanted Real Madrid.” Can’t blame him for wanting to play with Camavinga. French combo Tchouaméni/Camavinga going up against Spanish combo of Pedri/Gavi as rivals for the next 5-10 years. Will be fun to watch.
Yeah this makes Bellingham 120 with the British tax. Think it probably prevents him from moving this window because the new price tag will make everybody gag, but United will be more than ready in winter or summer 2023. He starts and plays well for England and it might be closer to 150 than 120.
Bellingham was never moving this window anyway and something over 100 was always going to be the asking price. I don't think it will be 150m unless Bellingham just has just an incredible year next year, as Dortmund's model relies on attracting young players like him, Haaland, and Sancho, on the understanding to give them game time in a big side and moving them on for profit and what comes next. Dortmund got a fortune for Dembele because he was only there a year and Barcelona were desperate to make a splash and the decision makers weren't spending their own money.
Also if Mbappe had gone to Real, Tchouaméni would have probably gone for around €65m to a EPL team. PSG would've probably gone after Salah and/or Mane to assert their standing. PSG drove up Tchouaméni's price to fuck with Real.
Liverpool might be the net spend champ in England, but they're dealing with the UCL Net Spend champ now.
Vintage Brazzo. He’s fucking awful. He’s been getting torched in the press by Lewa, and rightfully so. Hopefully this will be enough to get his ass fired and bring in Mathaus’ cocky ass.
Today's Botman update from Mediaset: Today's edition of SportMediaset reports this update on the negotiation between Milan and Lille for Sven Botman: the Rossoneri continue to have a privileged lane for the Dutch defender who strongly wants to move to Milanello. On him, however, there are also some rich Premier League clubs and for this reason Lille aims to open an auction in order to obtain as much as possible from the sale of Botman. Spoiler Sven Botman is pushing to join AC Milan but it is not a foregone conclusion that the Lille defender will get his ideal move, a report claims. MilanNews report that Milan are trying again with their attempts to sign Botman having gone after him in the summer and in particular it is technical director Paolo Maldini who is pushing for the Dutchman. He considers him to be talent that justifies an important investment not only for the future, but also for the present. In recent days Botman was interviewed by Dutch TV while away with the Netherlands U21 side and he broke into a big smile when asked about the idea of joining Milan, making it clear he strongly wants the move and said he hoped that the deal could be closed quickly. Botman has had an agreement with Milan for a long time over personal terms on a five-year deal and he is rejecting all the other proposals that come to him, in particular from Newcastle who are pushing strongly. However, Lille are hoping to sell Botman to a Premier League club at a higher amount so even if the 22-year-old’s will is quite clear to everyone, some negotiating must be done to get all parties in agreement.
