A lot of QBs get overvalued when the defense has to put 9 in the box to slow down a RB, that’s why a lot of the highlights from that season are flea flickers and other play action bombs
I don’t think he is terrible but I’m not sad he is transferring either. He can and does make some nice plays but a lot of poor ones especially with the good receivers we had. In general I would say he’s average.
Average is a pretty big step up from our current situation. Seems like we're either taking him or Casey Thompson. Thorne having 2 more years seems like a big benefit even though he might be meh. IDK if a different system could help him
He should bring a baseline of competency but doesn’t offer much upside as his arm and athleticism are just okay and maybe above average accuracy. He also sailed a ton of frustrating makeable throws at bad times last year
I did see you guys brought in multiple portal OL, but wasn't sure if that was b/c of Graduation. Ideally we'll have 4/5 new starters from the portal. We'll see how well they mesh and play. Seems like someone with accuracy and decision making in a heavy RPO offense is what we need. He did seem to throw some nice fades to the endzone in some highlights. Not a huge arm, but enough to make most throws.
Freeze too low. I assume the years spent spanking underage girls taught him a few things about hand to hand combat
I think I’d pick Kirby. He seems like the psycho type that goes straight for your balls. Just wild and unpredictable
Ya, if he gets the advantage early then he wins, but if you can wait him out, knock him off balance then pound him on ground. I’d take arnett. Young enough, fit enough, and looks a little crazy at times.
Hugh a fucking bitch. There are better scraps in a cantankerous pre school than he and Drink would give
Who beats Georgia then? That is regular season only so if Tennessee can’t win 10 games vs a weak schedule then Georgia goes undefeated.
Seems about right . Each conference has their clear winner, then a solid team. 3-7 in each division seems like they'll all beat each other up.
I've seen Bama look horrendous in the spring at QB, then they all of a sudden look amazing in the fall....but they look a different kind of terrible right now at that spot. I think that could make them beatable by a lot of teams on their schedule more than normal years. I'm sure their defense will be able to carry them enough and reload. Sark in Tuscaloosa will be an interesting preview to the season.
I would be very surprised if this bama team only drops 1 game unless a QB gets a lot better between now and fall.
Pretty home heavy with all your tough games except the Iron Bowl. I feel like y'all are still a lock to win 10 games even with poorer QB play.
Congrats to both Georgia and Alabama on their co-ownership of this years Fulmer Cup championship. After our WR got high as shit on weed drugs and forgot how to drive ending in his arrest yesterday, it's your move Bama.
