The 39-7 Oregon loss is already next to the Appalachian State loss, occurring a week later. That’s pretty uncomfortable as it is.
Appalachian State and Oregon hurt more, but Toledo is objectively the worst loss. A 3-9 MAC team that fired its head coach at the end of the season.
I'll never forget Mallett fucking around on the sidelines when Carr was trying to insert him into the game after Henne got hurt and knew we were fucked. I was a big shittalker to local Duck fans at the time and had to eat a lot of my words. Dennis Dixon should've won the Heisman that year but...Tuscon reared it's ugly head
Yooo I was a late invite to the thread (intentionally, by my haters) but now that I'm here you should know I bring very little value.
Ohio State took a 3-2 lead into halftime against Akron that day, but thankfully no one even noticed because of what Oregon did to you.
I would take considerably more umbridge with the beef shade than the corn shade tbh. We have the top 3 beef producing counties in the entire country.
Top 4 according to Business Farmer: https://www.thebusinessfarmer.com/article/americas-top-25-beef-cow-counties The top five counties are (*Drovers Estimate): 1) Cherry County, Neb.: 148,000 beef cows* / 24.8 cows per sq. mile 2) Holt County, Neb.: 6,467 beef cows / 39.9 cows per sq. mile 3) Custer County, Neb.: 94,958 beef cows* / 36.9 cows per sq. mile 4) Lincoln County, Neb.: 80,188 beef cows / 31.1 cows per sq. mile 5) Fergus County, Mont.: 79,847 beef cows / 18.3 cows per sq. mile
I see it either top 3 or top 4. Cherry, Holt, and Custer are undisputed as the top 3. Lincoln county may or may not be #4. https://www.thebusinessfarmer.com/article/americas-top-25-beef-cow-counties https://www.nebeef.org/raising-beef/state-national-facts#:~:text=Nebraska has the top three,County, with nearly 166,000 cows. https://www.drovers.com/news-news/ag-policy/americas-top-25-beef-cow-counties-page-2
Cherry county has just under 5,500 people and the county is fuckin gigantic (largest in the state by size) so to have that many per sq mile is hilarious.
Of course, we all know drovers usually just have an unpaid intern fill out their estimates, so the Business Farmer rankings are unreliable.
We don’t claim the wagyu people, shits over rated, just like our football team. Nebraska can have the beef but we own the corn title. Plus we produce the most bacon.
You guys can keep having a mid-off with your pale corn while we're harvesting silver queen in soil drained by Isiah Pacheco's steps Jersey corn is some of the very best corn you will ever eat. It is the combination of varieties, soils and best management practices that our farmers use to grow the most delicious sweet corn in the nation. Sweet corn is especially important for direct market growers. The state's fertile clay soil is ideal. The iconic Jersey Corn is a hybrid variety known as silver queen. It has long rows of soft, white kernels. Sweet corn hybrids like silver queen slow the production of sugar into starch, keeping the grains sweet and soft after harvesting.
Then it is likely Northwestern. They win in unusual ways. Iowa does too but it’s typically close to the same unconventional way (D/ST TD).
I could live with Northwestern, as there aren’t many of them online to be mean to me after upset wins.
We either beat NU by 2 TDs or lose in excruciating fashion (some off the top of my head…21 point 4Q come back this year, walk-off pick 6, Hail Mary to finish a 31 point comeback).
yeah weird shit happens in Iowa city to the point it’s not even weird it’s just playing in Iowa city. At least for UM
I mentioned them last page. We’ve already exceeded our Illinois football discussion quota for the month.
Not sure if we should just assume Rutgers based off your username but declare your fandom so we can judge you appropriately. Thanks in advance
Nebraska has both corn fed beef and free range beef in the sandhills. We give you both options for normal people, using Wagyu to brag about beef is lame as fuck. If I want to go to get the good stuff I’ll seek out Japan.
Day not winning the B1G next year with all these returners would be a fireable offense. The highest recruiting rankings by far and a team filled with 4th and 5th year guys with multiple years of starting experience.
For those that didn't see, that post was in response to Williams, Ransom and Sawyer all announcing they're staying, and the rumors that Burke, Henderson an JTT might as well.
He needs to beat you guys and make the playoff to be safe. Winning the B1G used to be implied with those two prior things happening but now I don't think it is.
I don't think missing the playoff is really even in play. It would mean he lost all 3 of the only possibly loseable games on the schedule. And even then, I don't think Michigan or PSU are going to be good enough to really count as being in that group. Especially if JJ declares. PSU is on the road, I guess, and maybe Allar gets better.
Lol that two of them talked shit to the Cornhuskers and not like Michigan or Ohio State. At least they know where they stand.
