Assume you meant ooc if the teams agree to it. Pretty sure it started last year in SEC, coaches are happy to not have to waste pitching at that point.
Yeah I was just saying I know acc play does but I assume it’s based on conference or if they agree in OOC
CF Max Williams 3B Cam Smith RF James Tibbs LF Jaime Ferrer 2B Drew Faurot DH Marco Dinges 1B Daniel Cantu C Jaxson West SS Alex Lodise Jamie Arnold will start game two for FSU. Arnold is one of three qualified pitchers nationally who have yet to allow an earned run. He has struck out 32 batters in 22 innings and has a 4-0 record through four starts. RHP Matt Bedford is Notre Dame's probable starter. Bedford has thrown 15.1 innings through five starts. He has a 5.28 ERA and a .228 average against. He's struck out eight and walked eight. First pitch is scheduled for 3:02 p.m. The game will stream on ACCNX.
Can’t believe we battled back against LSU in this game. Would love to win it in the 9th but hell of a fight from our guys.
This was posted on our home board today bc one of our former players homered there, but holy shit what a sick view Cornelius Suttree
Expected Link to know his business and he's living up to it. Hella lucky yall had an alum waiting in the wings at the right time. I'm sure I can grow to hate him but someone who prevented the biggest group of pricks (2022 Tennessee) from making it Omaha can't be all bad.
feel like the baseball sky grandpa owed us a Tally native to right the ship after like 70 years of just absolute shit luck for FSU baseball plus 2.1 years of shitmeat
Just going off records/who yall lost Vaughn certainly seems like a good hire. Probability wise Oats and him being good hires makes it even more certain Deboer will suck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ok last post about our pitching for awhile, stole this ERA: 2.35, #1 in U.S. WHIP: 0.97, #1 Strikeout-to-Walk Ratio: 4.64, #1 Strikeouts Per Nine Innings: 13.6, #1 We also took back the national lead in strikeouts from LSU as we have 255 and they have 254. They have played two more games than us. We lead the country in BAA at .183. We are only of only three allowing opponents to bat below the Mendoza line. The only team below .190. We lead the country in OBP at .275. The next closest team is East Carolina at .290. We lead the country in SLG at .252. The next closest team is Lamar at .293. That is the same gap as Lamar and South Carolina who is ranked #14. We lead the country in OPS at .527. The next closest is Lamar at .587. For ERA, Texas A&M and South Carolina are the only two other teams under 3.00 on the season. Individually, Hagen Smith is tied for 3rd in the country with Ks at 50. The two guys ahead and him have thrown over 30 IP while he is sitting at just 23. Not to be outdone, Molina is currently tied with Luke Holman at LSU for 12th in the country and 2nd in the SEC at 43. For batting average against, Hagen Smith is sitting at 2nd at .108. Molina is 6th at .122. Tygart is 20th and 4th in the SEC at .152. I know they all will probably regress, but just to put this in perspective, Kopps allowed a .162 BAA in 2021.
Is that overall, or just starters? Because I'm very shocked our OBP is that low considering how ass our BP is.
