Eagles trading CJ Gardner-Johnson to the Texans for Kenyon Green and a pick swap. going to miss his personality on defense.
But at least Howie is still writing tweets for Schefty and others… hilarious that everyone’s tweets breaking the news mentioned Green was a first rounder. Even though he’s been in the league for a few years and played nothing like that
No, he’s certainly not, just funny because this one was obviously Howie and not an agent(like a lot of their other “scoops”)
At one point I think Green was elite in the run game while maybe also being the worst pass blocking guard in the history of the league.
Green will almost certainly enter camp behind Steen at RG, their OL depth was really shallow and Green can now enroll in Stoutland Univ. and let him rebuild another first round bust but now we know that a. Becton won't be back and b. as much as I love the dude as a fan no locker room can handled CJGJ for more than a year at a time apparently big hole at safety as I'm not a believer in Sydney Brown
word is Stoutland really likes him and I would follow Jeff Stoutland anywhere so we're going to go with it. thought they would just go with Steen but I guess they don't think he's good enough.
still some names on the market at safety but not sure how much they have left in the tank. some good safeties in the draft as well.
theres a middle ground between these guys and the guys that say its fake, the nfl cap is crazy easy to manipulate if you have an owner willing to spend tons of cash and these guys over value the damage of kicking the can down the road
AR sucks. Will Levis sucks. as viewers of SEC football, these things were obvious before they were drafted. If any NFL team wants my opinion about Dart before reaching for him in the late first round, my phone line is open. spoiler: he also sucks
Josh Allen turning out to be a superstar based purely on measurables and nothing else is going to get a lot of people fired in the long run for reaching on guys like Levis and Richardson
Hilarious photo choice and agent-language of “stand out” for a guy that has zero accolades in the NFL
Kay Adams and Taylor Rooks love to leverage their hotness to get hilarious answers to questions players would usually dodge
did I miss someone posting that Jarrett Stidham got 2 years 12M from Denver? Peter Schrager was talking it up like he was gonna get some big contract from someone else, swing and a miss
I was generally on the McCarthy ain't it train. But every other QB from that draft has shown something, so I'd roll with it if I was Minnesota. Unless his leg is totally fucked.
Wonder if that's why he keeps the pencil in his ear, so people know who he is. Unrecognizable now, in a good way. Good for him.
cash-strapped teams often wait out the first few days of free agency and start grabbing players in the 1 - 2 year deal range with an AAV below 5 million. Looking at remaining free agents available, there are actually a lot of quality guys still on the board. For example Asante Samuel jr. or their own Rasul Douglas. I am kind of shocked Samuel Jr. hasn't signed yet. Can think of plenty of guys they've signed in the last few years who came in on those deals and overperformed. David Edwards, Tyrel Dodson, Jordan Phillips, Tim Settle, Daquon Jones, Tim Settle, Daquon Jones, Ty Johnson, Mack Hollins, etc.
He's a good signing on a contending team. I'm wanting like a full The Replacements-level roster. I beat Keanu would be a better QB than Carr
dolphins have to rebuild both of our interior lines and have no money. So of course we’re having to get injury prone or cheap stuff in FA. Grier better crush I the draft or else I’ll personally burn down the stadium with him inside
Hopefully he isn’t allowed because he’d definitely tear his calf or something if he tried to play 9 holes.
I’m assuming the Bosa deal is pretty incentive laden to get to that 12.6 cuz the Bills are thin on cap and he isn’t that good
More Bills free agency news: Sources say they are set to sign former Steelers DT Larry Ogunjobi on a 1-year, $8.3M deal with $8M guaranteed. The deal also includes incentives that could make the deal worth up to $10M.
