Re: 9/22 Matches I love the Carling Cup, Arsenal doesnt really take it seriously and plays all young players and they still usually win a couple games, its fun to watch
Re: 9/22 Matches Also I am super busy at work today so I wont have time to do a Daily News thread, (I did go to the usual sites and didnt see anything important enough to warrant its own thread) . If one of you wants to start the thread with some news you found you can go ahead and then jhawker, ManCity or myself will add more stuff to it.
Re: 9/22 Matches it took penalties to separate our C+ lineup from evertons A team in last years CC semis. there are two starters in this lineup, and at that point in the season, ben foster was the 3rd string keeper. # Ben Foster, # Rio Ferdinand, # Da Silva Rafael, # Da Silva Fabio # Nemanja Vidic, # Anderson, # Darron Gibson, # Ji-Sung Park # Carlos Tevez, # Federico Macheda # Danny Welbeck I cant wait to see what we come up with though on wednesday. wolverhampton is decent, but i love watching nani basically run the offense in CC games. i expect some more gibson, park, tosic, macheda at some point tomorrow.
Re: 9/22 Matches I guess it also provides the Big 4 with a good gauge on how their young players can perform. I want to see who Chelsea is gonna throw out there with all the injuries they have.
Re: 9/22 Matches i was at chelsea vs Club America at jerryworld a month or so ago, and chelsea came out with what i would call a C+ level team as well and were leagues better than club America. they played their 3/4/5 keepers IIRC.
Re: 9/22 Matches Is there anywhere the Carling Cup games can be watched online? Liverpool vs. Leeds is on channelsurfing.net, but that was the only one I could find.
Re: 9/22 Matches First of all, welcome. And yes I can provide streams to any match you want. I will be adding an information thread that will be stickied on how to watch streams online. If you are at a personal computer, I would suggest downloading Sopcast. It is a FREE software that lets you stream directly from hundreds (maybe thousands) of channels from all over the world. I will add all this info on the thread later on the week. But as far as today's match I'll drop a stream here closer to kickoff.
Leeds need to get their shit together and make it back to the EPL. This atmosphere is nice even for a Carling Cup match.
Cant find it on any of the stream sites, which probably means is not being televised in a major network. I'll wait a few and look again. Here is a Gamecast for it though: http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/football/carling-cup/2009-2010/arsenal-west-bromwich-albion-343808.html
I got another stream in case the 2nd one I posted goes down. It started slowing donw for me. This new one I got is not as good quality, but it's password protected so I dont think it will get shut down.
WOW. Goals flying in now. West ham takes the lead 1-0. Stoke City has come back 3 goals in 3 minutes to take a 3-2 lead over Blackpool.
