Just saw the clip. Wrestling referees really don’t care about the talents’ safety. Also how was everything in slow motion until that move.
Because that's the speed Madison Rayne moves at. And Deonna isn't exactly a speedy person, but she had to slow down because of Madison.
Hangman might have hurt his ankle. Could miss the PPV, which sucks. He was red hot. I don't think he was going to win the title, as it seemed like the story was setting up him losing by focusing too much on beating Swerve vs winning the belt. Either way, if he's out, they'll have to change plans at least somewhat.
Happened when he escaped out of the Muscle Buster. Rolled off Joe's shoulders and hurt it when he landed, and didn't look like he landed awkwardly either. Started limping right away.
Waller and Theory a couple of old school shooters protecting the business. FTR bald could only dream of this!
I believed this also happened with Waller on TV a few weeks back in Australia when he was promoting Elimination Chamber. Such a dumb and ignorant trope by those that don’t watch wrestling.
I had my suspicions. The hard cam showed that camera in his face for a few seconds without him saying anything. Then when they switched to that camera he said “don’t shoot me”. Glad he’s ok, this feud is awesome. Revolution is absolutely stacked btw.
Grayson Waller was ready to fight a guy. Apparently media, even mainstream media, acting like this is just the norm in Australia though.
I feel like Metlzer is trustworthy regarding AEW factual news that doesn’t involve boosting or negging a wrestler. Dave’s opinions though…
I was trying to think if Sly had ever appeared on WWF/E TV before. I don't think he has. Arnie got in the HOF after showing up on a single SmackDown, but I don't think Stallone has appeared, so don't think he'll get a HOF Celebrity spot. Probably they'll try and get him for a backstage segment. Hosting the show would be cool, though.
He also made a wrestling movie in the 70’s with Terry Funk and a bunch of other wrestlers of the time.
If they still do the celebrity inductions Limp Bizkit should get in. Love them or hate them, they are the soundtrack of the Attitude Era. Also, Arsenio Hall was giving talent major exposure when his show was a big deal.
the fact they made this the “Turbo Tax Move of the Night” 2 mins later was hilarious. I guess you can’t argue its effectiveness
