Starting to think this KOTR tournament is basically "the prince hand picked legends tournament" and thats fine... but I don't really want to see Big Show wrestle 3 times in a single night lol...

Sounds like KO is headed towards knee surgery. That means Lashley has "injured" both Zayn and KO now. Will be interesting to see if they just ignore that, or if they come back and get their revenge.

Thats a solid card. More excited for that than the Saudi Arabia house show. They've shown no inclination of doing it, but perfect time to make Charlotte the heel again and Becky the anti-hero baby face. Last woman standing match is the perfect time for some outside interference fuckery that costs her the title.

 

I think it was on the Post wrestling podcast I heard this but someone was saying that a big reason they don't want to turn Charlotte is because she does the most interviews and promotion in the company. And they prefer her to not be a heel when she does make those appearances

 

There's an easy way to fix that. Just have Becky do the interviews.

 

I wasn't around when he started using it, but as far as I can recall they've just called it "The knockout punch" or something like that the past couple years.

 

I can't remember the last time i've heard them call it WMD... part because he's always losing and part because he's off TV for over a year.

becky’s last name isn’t Flair. They aren’t doing those interviews or media appearances for fans who already watch or subscribe, they are doing them for potential watchers and subscribers. The general public is more likely to pay attention to an interview or appearance by charlotte if for nothing else but for her name; everyone has heard of Rick Flair and she is his daughter.

If you haven't watched Cole vs Dunn vs Ricochet from NXT this week do yourself a favor and go watch it immediately. NXT has given us 2 matches this month alone that could headline most WWE PPV's. Other thoughts

War Raiders are who WWE want AOP to be. 2 huge bad asses that can absolutely go in the ring and are amazing together. I can't fucking wait for the series of matches between them and UE. Speaking of UE, has there been a better group of 4 chickenshit heels before? The War Games they are setting up is going to be absolutely spectacular. Its too bad they couldn't bring the 4 of them up and add Sami and KO and make a ridiculously great stable of heels.

 

Seems like there's more and more smoke to some of Bullet Club making the jump to WWE. Omega, Rhodes, and a 3rd (Cole?) would make a good faction to roll them out. Young Bucks would have to be separate on Smackdown. Them feuding with New Day, Usos, etc would be fun.

 

Yeah apparently a lot of people are not happy with the new NJPW management. They had no previous wrestling business experience. Not sure why they got new management to begin with.

 

Also, there is a CT senator who is calling to end any and all business the state has with Saudi Arabia because, you know, they suck. Doubtful it will happen, but could affect Sharia Raw and other Saudi events.

 

If you really want to play fantasy booker, have the Indy/ROH guys (Cole, KOR, Fish, Strong, KO, Sami) vs Japan (AJ, Balor, Anderson, Gallows, Naka, and mystery partner who ends up being Omega).

If they bring over the Bullet Club guys, Cody will be on his own. They might keep Kenny and Bucks together and put them up against New Day right off the bat before Kenny gets up and running as a singles wrestler.
