I never understood this thinking. Hey we want Seth Rollins to be champion! Seth wins title and we delete our network sub, and stop watching RAW. Bray Wyatt is amazing! Hey let’s not watch RAW and support his segment. Vince makes calls based on ratings. March sales ect. People have wanted Seth, Kofi as champions get it and now walk away from the product. I get it has some issues but fuck these guys are getting a major push and people claim to like them. Watch them before they get sent back to the Mid card and the entire RAW main event scene is built around Roman.
The product sucks. Are there spots here and there that work, yes? Until, USA/ratings force stockholders to demand corrective action the overall product is going to continue to suck
WWE has a huge social media following including YouTube where they're constantly putting out content from show to webs exclusives. The fact is their Web stuff is mostly better than their TV stuff. Vince may believe tanked rating have to do with the Champs, but everyone who isn't a VKM lapdog knows that's not the case. I hate not watching Kofi as champ, but I won't apologize for not watching 4.5 hours of garbage on USA every week just to see those 30 minutes that are actually decent. And, as noted, the chances of you having a Neilsen box and actually affecting ratings are pretty slim. Supporting what I enjoy by watching on YouTube gives them actual numbers, not estimates.
Plus I think USA already fighting back on the low ratings. Maybe it's in my head, but the amount of commercials the last 2 weeks is absurd. As far as Kofi and Rollins, yeah people wanted them to be champ, but that's cause the chase is great. Right now I'd argue all 3 main champs the fans wanted from WM are boring as shit. Especially Becky.

It's a shame Sasha is stuck in a contract so long, I don't see Vince/WWE releasing her. So she can keep up what she's doing but it won't benefit her. While I haven't been impressed with her on the main roster, I'm sure it's not fully her fault. But I do think she's an awful promo, so her ring work would have to carry her elsewhere. I have no doubts she wants to join AEW. She'd be a big addition to the female side. Just get them mic skills up, cause her talking is blah.

Remember at the absolute nadir of the New Generation era, when Vince was running Adam Bomb vs Lex Luger because that was all he had to work with? That's how it is now, except his roster is loaded with guys capable of putting on a 4 star match in their sleep. But because Vince is half senile and refuses to get behind anyone he doesn't "get" (because their---and the audience's---tastes have diverged from Vince's by a mile), he runs the same three feuds all year long.
