Aren't you the guy that said "Julio is the worst WR we've had in a long time. He'd be cut if he wasn't a high draft pick."?
I think it says a lot that he stepped in as a rookie and took a lot of balls away from those two guys.
Roddy White has been targeted more than any player in the NFL with 171. Tony Gonzalez is 17th in the league in targets with 115. Julio Jones isn't taking anything away from either of those two.
Well Im not. AJ has had a very good season but to say he's clearly better than Julio at this point is ridiculous. It's like the people who said Ingram was drafted to highly after his first game. Tide, Bitch
If you want to debate someone, debate me. dbl is wearing crimson shades and it's dark out right now so he can see shit
That's not even the worst part. This league has defensive players. Each solo tackle is worth 2 fucking points. Sacks are worth 3. Passes defended are worth 1. My points leaders as I head into the finals: Aaron Rodgers 382 points, Derrick Johnson 245 points, James Anderson 237 points. It's fucking retarded. At least it's not a pay league.
Why do college fans argue for players that are no longer at the school that they are fans of? I am a fan of Elway who gives a fuck that he played at Stanford. I was a Cade fan I don't care that he was a bust in the NFL. How does MJD being better in the NFL than Bush help UCLA?
I agree with what you're saying. Personally, I pull for Julio to do well being a Bama grad and a Falcons fan but have no problem admitting that AJ had a better season unlike some (cough dbl cough). I also cheer for guys like Ingram or Arenas to do well in the pros but Im certainly not a fan of their teams. Hate the Saints actually. I just hope we dont come off as asshatish as the Auburn fans who have become die hard Panther fans because of Newton
As an Alumni I also want former Bruins to do well. But, them doing well or poorly doesn't change what occurred while they were at UCLA. I am talking about those that are just fans. Once a player leaves the school for all intents and purposes that "connection" no longer exists. I mean once a player is traded from a pro team I root for I no longer care how they do on the new team.
Oh I agree. It's just another bullshit excuse for people to secondhand brag on their school. I also dont expect the Julio/AJ debate to end any time soon
I dont give a fuck about ga.. or alabama. I have seen them both play a hundred times and green is just a better player.
Victor Cruz was a major reason I won the Shiva Bowl, feel aggrieved that he didn't make it especially when his stats were 2nd best in the NFC even when he didn't really play till week 3 or 4. London Fletcher screwed like every other year. How exactly do you give it to Urlacher when Fletcher has twice as many tackles and creates 2 more turnovers. What a fucking joke.
I seriously doubt you've seen them each play 100 games. They are both very good players but it's too close to call
dude, this is a thread about why julio is obviously better than a pro bowl rookie. where are your manners
How exactly did Dwight Freeney make it? Can't play the run for shit and didn't even have that many sacks this year. Love the players they just automatically select no matter if they play like shit.
I could throw the ball 100 feet over your head and they'd still call it a target using "catch rate" as a stat to compare WRs on different teams is ridiculously stupid
