So we can have a separate thread from Squid Games. This Netflix show is a cross between Squid Games and Ready Player One, IMO. It's more stylized than Squid Game, but similar early arc that diverges from Squid Games at a similar apex. Very entertaining. Season One is done and Season two is set to be released in Spring of 2022 at the earliest.
This was needed. Started this show because of the recs in the Squid Game thread and am enjoying it through the first 4 eps. Episode 3 was quite something.

For those who’ve watched Squid Games and this… Spoiler which friendly kill off scene did you feel was more devastating, not counting the married couple in Squid since they were fringe characters
Spoiler They definitely developed his character better so that you cared for him coupled with his devastating deceit, but on a different level knowing that in AiB they were long term friends made that harder for me. I cared more for the fact that he had to live with what was done even if he wasn’t at fault.
I just finished and loved it. I think some people felt it went off the rails, but I actually appreciated the ending and all of the potential endings from the final game.
I can't stop thinking about it. I think this show is highly underrated and should get more attention.
I think they did a great job. I read the comics after season 1 and the show runners followed everything pretty closely. Everything was well executed
Just binged S1 and S2. Really enjoyed it. Spoiler That Queen of Hearts battle was a fucking roller coaster of emotions
Ok so I binged through the first season yesterday. Really like how it gives off the comic book vibes. Going to start season 2 on Monday.
Not sure if spoiler or not Spoiler I think it’s because each episode isn’t a new game and the games last over the course of multiple episodes. Plus a lot more dialogue with their emotions and all that instead of just the Battle Royale style of the first season.
Spoiler it's clearly not from the last scene. I liked it...pretty cheesy at times for something so violent, but good nonetheless. A poor man's squid games imo
