Anyone else watching this? I was intrigued by the first episode. Basically, 10 survivalists are left in remote areas of Vancouver Island and allowed to bring 10 items from the real world. The last one who doesn't quit wins 500k.
These dudes have been dropping fast. I would have been so pissed at my self for losing my fire starter.
I'm honestly surprised at how this show has gone so far. I hesitate to talk badly about survival experts, but it seems like many of them only wanted their 15 minutes of TV fame, and were looking for an excuse to go home the minute they stepped foot into the wilderness. I mean, the sheriff guy was talking about going home the minute the boat left him on the shore. Hopefully the remainder of the season/competition improves.
Theyve only been there 5-6 days and half of the dudes have left. That area seems pretty miserable. Nearly impossible to get fire going. I was surprised that one dude was drinking out of that salt water marsh without realizing it. Seemed like a very novice mistake.
Season 5: Redemption just started, in Mongolia. Wife & I absolutely love love it... anyone else watch?
Seems there’ll be a lot more hunting/fishing/trapping this season, with everyone bringing a bow & snares. Should be more interesting
Think the best shelter was the girl from 2 seasons ago, that go bitten by the spider & treated it with herbs & the couple with the log cabin last season (wife is on again this season)
