It might be a nice twist if he played essentially the Sean Connery role in a vessel for a new actor, but I’m guessing Ford wouldn’t go for something like that. He was willing to do it for Star Wars just to kill off Han Solo, but I think Indy is by far his favorite role of his career and he’s really attached to it.

It's crazy that Connery was only 58 in The Last Crusade (and Ford was only 12 years younger)

 

Hot take: Crystal Skull is a pretty fun movie if you take it for what it is. I enjoyed the pulp aspect of it, but yeah, the alien ending is pretty ridiculous.

Would be cool if Ke Huy Quan was in the movie since he came back to acting recently (and also if his character was not a racist caricature like he was in temple of doom)

Crystal Skull blows ass, but I do find it ridiculous that people complain about aliens when Indiana Jones exists in a world where every god is real.

Yeah I mean Raiders literally ended with people (jk Nazis arent people) melting because they looked into the ark of the covenant. Aliens wasn’t the issue with the crystal skull tho

 

Also just get someone else to play Indy. I love Ford but please stop dragging out his corpse for nostalgia purposes because you’re unoriginal paste eaters who can’t come up with new concepts or a good story

 

I remember barely making it through Crystal Skull in the movie theater because it was so bad. Apparently that was 14 years ago. Haven’t seen it since.

I hated Temple of Doom too. Not as much as Crystal Skulls…but enough

 

Think Temple was the fire one I saw. Don't think a elementary birthday sleep over was complete without a late night viewing of Temple on VHS.

The last star wars trilogy was a disappointment because it was nothing more than a remake of the original trilogy. I think they could turn Indy into a Bond type character with different actors as the lead and make some pretty badass movies.

 

Him, Pratt, or Bradley Cooper were my favorites when it seemed like a possibility after Disney’s acquisition.

Also want like a legit Hard R reboot, but said Disney purchase ensured that won’t happen.

Maybe…I just know that the original three were nice and bloody with big loud booms and great visuals and I was worried that Disney would make it soft and safe.

Red Dawn. Temple of Doom and Gremlins are the reason FOR PG-13. Speilberg directed one and produced the other and himself suggested the PG-13 rating be added after the feedback he received

 

Yup. Temple fucked me up as a kid. Many nightmares about having my still beating heart ripped out while enveloped in a fire pit

It’s the only one I owned on VHS as a kid. I only saw ROTLA or LC if they came on tv. Might be why
