where's the actress going that she's in such a rush to run away from the best job she'll probably ever have?
And the season is only 10 episodes. Definitely seems like there is something going on behind the scenes.
So that seemed like the series finale to Arrow as we know it. Next season probably revolves around Oliver and the Monitor getting things ready for Crisis.
They said the flash forwards would continue next season. Just a guess, but Diggle appears in those as his older self (they've confirmed he's alive). They completely do away with the present, and focus on Ollie's time with the Monitor and the future timeline. Give me John Diggle Stewart with fancy new ring and I'll forget all about how boring I found the flash forwards this season.
I doubt I will watch this show if it moves forward. https://variety.com/2019/tv/news/ar...-katie-cassidy-juliana-harkavy-cw-1203347438/
It’s not like he’s doing anything else and it was just going to be a cameo not a feature so how much info did you need to just show up and do some lines
Right now he's doing a couple of podcasts and his band is about to go on tour in Germany. It sounds like they had no information to give him. I don't blame him for not just agreeing without any information.
Alright. They got me. I am all in on this last season of Arrow. That was a great premiere.. Flash forwards can still fuck right off though. Absolutely grinds the main plot to a halt with zero potential payoff. Also, love the Easter Eggs of the Batman mask on the island and Adrian dropping the Bruce Wayne mention. Definitely hinting at Bruce training Adrian, but we will never get the confirmation.
Oliver’s last conversation with his mom got me teary eyes and of course they killed off Thea on the earth they went to
The flash forward scenes are still terrible but I’m enjoying this path of Oliver facing his old crises again in prep for the crisis.
I don’t see ANYONE clamoring for this proposed spinoff revolving around the female characters in the flash forwards. I’m a complete and utter sucker for comic book shows and movies, but I am even going to skip that one if it moves forward. Going to be an absolute disaster. The main storyline is great so far this season, and every break to a flash forward brings that momentum to a grinding halt.
With the announcement of the Green Lantern series on HBO Max, all I want is for the last scene in the series to be a GL ring floating in front of Diggle and the HBO series goes from there. It will never happen, but I would geek the fuck out.
That backdoor pilot did absolutely nothing to convince me Green Arrow and the Canaries is a show I’m going to watch. And I eat up pretty anything comic book related on TV. No one cared about the flash forwards to 2040 when they happened on Arrow, so I’m not sure why they think making an entire show in a version of that timeline is a good idea.
Green Arrow and the Canaries looks like a horrible show. I really didn't enjoy the episode. I am hoping it's more Arrow than the Canaries for the final episode.
Pretty pumped for the finale tonight. Say what you will about the up and down seasons, this show set the stage for all the comic book shows we are seeing right now on TV and streaming platforms. Really hope they send it off on a worthy note.
They fucking did it, and much more obviously than I thought they would. With the Crisis tie in to the DCEU, I actually think they might tie this into the HBO Max Green Lantern series. Overall, well done finale.
