The Addison Russel was the worst and I skip all the MMA fighter ones. Dan Haren and Pat McAfee are probably the best athletes they have had on.
It's hard to imagine that someone could be around the site as long as he has and not have a considerable, re-occurring, content contribution. Especially when you factor in that some guys have had multiple instances of that going on.
from what I understand, most of his family is a trainwreck. Charlotte is twice divorced at 29, arrested for drunk fighting, etc - which pains me as tall blondes built like her who would give me kids who make varsity is what I look for.
I don't dislike McAfee but I do know what you mean that he tries too hard. The raiders punter, dan haren, griffin, and the conglomerate are probably my favorite interviews
Honestly, while some of them are good, the interviews are typically the weakest part of PMT. I get the need to create content but wish they'd do a shorter podcast with just the first and last third of the episode 2x a week and have a guest once a week. A lot of these guys who don't get the schtick or don't play along are painful. And for everyone shitting on Smitty, how the fuck is Nate still employed? He is awful in every way.
Griffin was good. Forgot about that one. They should ask Joel Embiid to be on....his accent might be a slight issue but he'd be a great sport with their questions. I'm glad they stopped asking people if they washed their apples. Funny at first but after 20+ interviews, it was stale in the responses.

Pat McAfee is a genuine dude, I don't think he tries too hard at all. Especially with cheesedick dorks like JJ Watt and Russell Wilson prancing around the NFL.
a week before that interview this little "gourmet" market/grocer near me marked those down to a $1 each, I grabbed a dozen. When I heard (how poor) the pitch AJ Green gave, I couldnt help but question the quality of the product.

Francis is pretty funny. Just read the power rankings and the videos in it made me laugh pretty good.
