There are a lot of duds on that list
i think State fans can't help but make themselves the butt of every joke, and also can't take being the butt of every joke.
A large portion of their fans (Brandon Walker included), believe themselves to be morally superior to others by virtue of being Mississippi State fans. It's bizarre.
i was thinking about walker's reaction to these situations and how Stingray acted when he realized he was the butt of the joke. seems to be a theme.
how can your fanbases claim to fame be the cowbell and take itself so seriously?
I was excited about Lo Duca because he knows horse racing. He put in 0 effort.
Horse racing was booming March - June and he would put out daily picks that’ included zero analysis and probably took him 5 minutes
Him not being included in Pennsylvania indicates it’s over for him
My favorite mantis content was when Nick said he looked like a single parenthesis
Nick is one of the more refreshing hires barstool has made recently.
White Sox Dave has covid
How much do the bloggers like mantis make? $50k?
I’m surprised Mantis made it this long. Probably the high point of his life.
that is so weird. What is their rationale behind that? Are Ole Miss people supposedly sinful cheats or something?
If you ask them, yes.
I, for one, appreciate your unbiased view of the subject
On the topic of their football coverage, at least they try on that. Their CBB is lead by a guy that gets 0 engagement on all of his tweets despite having 30,000 followers
Reags is too knowledgeable and good at his job to get any engagement
Figured Mark Titus (and/or Tate) would join post-Ringer. Wonder why they haven’t made the switch?
Aren’t they with fox?
Billy football is still awful.
Laughs like a gorilla, reacts loudly whenever someone fucks with him... it's like bring your kid to work day, but it never ends

Don't know if this is a shtick or if he's a legit crazy person..
He is a legit crazy person
Paul lo duca didn’t get re-signed then blocked every barstool employee on twitter
Do they still play his intro on PMT?
Blocked by all of them???
He blocked them
I actually really liked him a lot when he was on TVG and all I knew about him was former baseball player and now horse handicapper
once I learned about his actual personality it was no bueno
If they were smart they would buy Chili's
Like they could afford it
Was going to edit to say Chili's should buy barstool
Just looking at PENN stock...that shit was down to like $4 a share in mid-March, almost $60 a share now. Would have been a nice value play, but I was convinced the stock market was going to cease to exist in March tbh
Would love to know how much of the $78m in barstool sports book handle is Dave’s bets
I bought at $8
I cannot imagine how douchey the clientele will be.
I don’t think that concept will work
Especially the "nightlife component." If the setup was right, I could see myself going to a branded sports bar that catered to sports bettors.
I think you’re about to find that concept at every casino $PENN owns in states where sports betting is legal
I would 100% go to a barstool pizza place as I’m sure it would be outstanding
this isn’t exactly saying much bc there is little competition but the mellow mushrooms here in jax that are set up to be more like a sports bar just absolutely crush it. in the right locations a barstool pizza place and sports bar could def be successful
So, pretty much like all the #Auburn Tigers fans from rivals. I'm so sick of us keeping a coach because they think he would make a good Sunday school teacher. Fire him and free him up to teach Sunday school.
When's the last time you got on the bunker? Maybe a lot of the fans who don't message board feel that way, but I haven't been to any Auburn message board where the majority sentiment was to keep Gus.
I got in at $7
Sold at $11
i'll be interested to see how much market share they take away from other online sportsbooks. i have a feeling it's going to be significant.
probably too early to tell how much deposits/bets they're turning into profit. i want to see that number too. going to do some research on this tonight/this weekend.
paying $400m for barstool, spending ~$0 on advertising and letting dave/big cat be their advertising was one of the smartest moves i've ever seen.
Long time ago. I left when the older guys kept saying Jake Holland was a good linebacker because they are racists. Those idiots love an aubren man.
