Cheah became commissioner of that MLB fantasy football league and was just casually texting back and forth with Mike Trout and had no idea who he was. He is a tremendous weirdo.

cheah is hilarious. apparently that fantasy leauge is like a bunch of big time baseball players and he runs it like a tyrant. like bregman or someone texting cheah on the side trying to get him to reconsider something etc. ridiculous.

Same. I bought one shirt around that time. It was one of those $4.99 Gildan shirts that they slapped a graphic on and sold it for like $32. I wore it once and never again.

 

They didn’t do an interview because PFT wasn’t in town and they won’t do solo interviews I guess

I think PMT sucks. It’s the same show every single time.

It's hard to defend PMT. I used to listen to every episode, too.

It can be funny, but the funny moments are much less common. And they're posted on Twitter anyway, so you don't really miss anything.

Football season is so bad. They keep moving the "funny takes/actual game analysis' slider further away from funny takes each year.

 

I really only listen to the Monday am fastest two minutes and the 2-3 guests each year that are must-listen

 

Yall are miserable if you don’t think PMT is enjoyable

 

I also dgaf about the nfl and that’s 50%+ of what they do

 

i skip more than i used to. have listened since the first month of the show, things just run their course.

 

I like the guys and I used to be a big fan of the show, but it’s more or less the same or slightly worse. It’s run its course for me. I like the Yak, Unnamed Show, and Mostly Sports much more.

 

I usually skip the interviews unless it is someone I’m really interested in. But I still enjoy PMT. Only Barstool stuff I consume other than following on Instagram.

 

I still listen to Chicago pods all the time even though they lost a lot when Carl left

I think this is a pretty fair take. 2024 PMT is very close to the "mainstream media" that 2016 vintage PMT would roast.

 

2016 PMT would have asked Harbaugh about the cheating scandals. Now they’re too big to risk it.

Apparently the deal isn’t even exclusive to Sirius. They are just buying the ad rights on it like Barstool did and doing some other content with her. It would be hilarious if it was exclusive because I think the only Sirius subscribers are me, people with new cars on free trial, and truckers.

Sofia got kicked through the barber shop window like Marty Jannetty (Lot of overlap between Call Her Daddy and a 30+ year old wrestling reference.).

 

Only people I know with Sirius are my boomer parents so that they can listen to cable news in their car (lol) and a former coworker who is a Howard Stern junkie

 

Yeah it seems Ike they are just trying to get attached to more content and sell ads. They have some deal with Dale Jrs podcast network. Took me finally googling it to realize it was the Sirius logo on the corner of thier podcast artwork.
