I don't know anything about pubg. I don't need to parachute in for 10 min. Speed it up. The lobby is stupid as fuck. It's just every moron shooting off everything they can find. Why does it take so long to get a match going. Spent 4min matchmaking then the lobby then we parachute in. Why?
Probably masking load times. I'll say I think they rolled this "first time" product out way better than they did the game itself. I really don't think it's the game mode for me, but hopefully it improves the series overall.
What did you expect for parachuting in a ww2 game? I can't imagine getting so annoyed by the lobby. Rather that than sitting on a loading screen.
The matchmaking isn’t great from what I’ve heard, but I’ve had people to play with. Use the look for game feature through the bfv game hub.
Airborne doesn't take as long. Just speed it up. Btw. Does criterion understand that triangles point in 3 directions?
All the battleground games drop you high in the air so you can have some time to get away from the line the planes follow instead of just dropping everyone in one condensed area. And you don’t have to open the parachute, it’ll open on its own when you get low enough. My first match I went squad and it was terrible. Second game was solo and I got to #7. Gotta be very sneaky when you pick up a gun without ammo
Every time I get out of the plane in firestorm I just drop like a goddamn rock and can't glide. Left stick all the way forward and right stick aimed where I should be gliding to. Shit is pissing me off.
Yeah I think it’s ridiculous there haven’t been new maps. Also the weapon variation(s) suck IMO. Been sniping, using the shotty and noticed a marked improvement in nades as well, which I enjoy because I thought they were vastly under powered.
Been playing the shit outta firestorm still. At least we get another new map soonish. Fall campaign is rumored to be the pacific
Needs the upgrades bad and then it’s pretty much a heavy assault weapon with a bipod. Idk how I feel about the 5v5 mode/maps coming. I’d much rather they just stick to classic battlefield modes. Who is asking for a 5 on 5? They really are all over the place with a hundred game modes and a coop mode that is laughably bad. Firestorm roadmap should be out in the future. I love the mode. Just needs more weapons.
They need to quit wasting their time on that awful coop mode. The game has a good backbone imo, just needs more maps.
That’s what sucks about this new 5 on 5 mode. They’re going to point to those maps and act like they’ve done a whole lot since launch. When in reality we’re going to get 2 new conquest maps in the first year since launch. And I’m not counting Firestorm because dice didn’t even touch that. Panzerstorm doesn’t count either. You know they had that shit already finished at launch.
Heard some guy at Dice said this is the most maps they have been working on this late in any BF game. Well most would have around 20 by now so that’s misleading.
Eh I don't think bf1 did. They just finally added microtransactions so hopefully they put out content quicker
Went 41-9 on Fjell with that semi-auto SMLE Turner earlier. Thing is so sick with that detachable magazine perk.
A couple rounds of fortress was enough for me. Someone on reddit data mines BFV and there is so much there that we’re missing out on.
Data miners found the new company IU for the pacific chapter. Each faction is named now (British, German, Japan) and the Americans are designated as “US Pacific” Really hope this means we get some actual iconic western front battles in the future. Also firestorm is getting a respawn system.
This, aim for turret on the first, the back of the tank for the engine and then anything for the last. The last two are absolute cake. Also all three can be done in a tank. I will say I did enjoy tank mode and running around flanking tanks.
That would be sweet. Especially considering I would play more BF1 if there were enough players on all the servers to get into different game modes.

Awesome! I had so much fun on the weekly challenge just flanking tanks. Not my typical play style but I enjoyed it. Just a side note, this game is adequate, but I really did feel like BF1 did a significantly better job at this type of thing. I liked the grind to get weapons or attachments and wish they had that open. Long story short I just enjoyed that it forced me to try different guns, attachments, etc.........
Yup. They’re saying it’s because of a Swedish holiday tomorrow, but it’s because they need a pr win after taking away more game modes /pit crew debacle.
