Couple of things I’d like to see these “shall not be infringed” guys pushed on: 1) the second amendment makes no mention of guns - it says “arms.” Everyone’s understanding of that term would have to include nuclear-tipped ICBMs as being “arms.” That’s what “the arms race” was all about. So if we aren’t infringing on the ownership of “arms,” everyone can have a nuclear-tipped ICBM? 2) The First Amendment has equally strong language as the first saying that speech and press cannot be abridged. So if we’re absolutists with the 2nd, doesn’t that mean the first requires the same zealotry? And then tell them that means they support child pornography being legal.
Those videos of Stewart schooling inbred republicans always depress me because those evil pieces of shit aren't going to think about a single thing Stewart said after the cameras are off, they'll go right back to trying to jail queer people and anyone who doesn't think cops should get tanks.
true but it can still be incredibly depressing to have an elected official presented with facts and they leave unfazed by the information Like the lady from Arkansas.
If these videos were beamed into a significant chud population sure, but it's likely the only people watching this interview are left-leaning.
People used to say the same thing about Fox News. Only right wing shitheads are watching that garbage, but it still manages to shape the discussion. An opposing message needs to be out there pushing back.
Couple that has made their careers by being provocative public figures says please respect our privacy
Drunk waiting for an Uber and hearing how planned parenthood is part of ISIS because of abortion and Biden caused high gas by vetoing the keystone pipeline. I just cringe.
The L in LGB must stand for Lib "If we just wouldve appeased the fascists theyd be ok with gay people" lmao
German philosopher Georg Hegel famously said, “The only thing that we learn from history is that we learn nothing from history.”
National debt is irrelevant! But - if you’re going to allow the GOP to frame the debate in that way - this is a good way to do it. I guess Sigh
Not sure of the full context of the quote (or if there's anything more than just a tweet) but I'd be fine with this if Biden used it as a jumping off point to explain to the general public how the right does not feel constrained by any of their own arguments (whether it's federal debt, abortion, free speech or the freedom to live your life as you choose). The democrats need a comprehensive strategy for explaining that the right has us on a path that almost always leads to violence because they do not feel bound to any sense of empathy or respect for others. Otherwise, yeah the debt argument stuff is just
I don't completely agree that this isn't getting coverage, but it is shocking to me that Fox News and even CNN or MSNBC isn't giving a ton of air time to the "they're burning down cities" narrative bullshit we saw in the summer of 2020.
Another failed actor lol. One of the last episodes of Maher I watched was several years ago when he made the point breitbart and Bannon were both Hollywood lib rejects. This continues to track as Knowles (apparently) and crowder are also limp dick wannabes.
He simply found an acting job In 2016, Knowles was invited to join The Daily Wire, beginning as regular guest and cultural correspondent for The Andrew Klavan Showpodcast.[citation needed] He had worked with Andrew Klavan's son, Spencer, on theater productions while they were undergraduates at Yale.
this board going to have a really hard time with biden positioning himself more moderate than he's governed for '24 election chances
I don't even see shit about it on local news or people talking about it w/ City of Atlanta. It's really weird
*not* embracing and platforming the dude who was recently trashing the separation of church and state maybe?
