If I had to guess, that was meant more to motivate those groups to continue to do their GOTV work regardless of what congress ultimately does a or doesn’t do. Lack of imagination in the communications side annoys me. Case in point: tired ass debate format during primaries. Would like to see more town halls and the president demanding members hold telephone/web events and explain important legislation. Inevitably it’ll be “durrr what have the Dems done?” come next year.
