I got lucky when choosing this weekend to go out of town this fall. Group chat won’t be blowing up and distracting me from exploring a new city.

I knew he has had some health issues but for some reason I thought it was just heart related like most coaches

Yea. He’s had a rough few years. Sucks that it happened to one of the few good people in coaching.

The decline can level off or continue at any pace, it's different for every single case

I'd bet good money that his diagnosis came years after he'd started to develop signs

 

It's a horrible disease, Ive lost multiple loved ones to it and I wouldn't wish it on anyone

 

There were rumors before his last season at UM that he had health issues. He wasn’t diagnosed until about a year after he retired.

 

Our top WR had 5 TDs all last season.

a very early tell tale sign is parkinsons mask, basically the individual gradually loses the control of muscles in the face and they just carry blank expression

You can see it in his interviews, but its almost impossible to notice until after the fact
