From the clips I have watched and the tweets I have seen conte sounds a lot more like last season conte. Regardless of the players we may or may not get, our manager snapping out of the negative funk and getting everyone on the same page will be the key to the season. Hopefully tottenham's wembley woes continue, we steal a win and then get hazard and bakayako back moving forward.

 

Sounds like hazard and Pedro are out. Maybe hazard makes the bench. Bakayako should be on the bench but conte might start him because we have no one else. Only other option would be Luiz in midfield.

I am interested to see if boga gets the start or if musonda does. I rate musonda a good bit higher but boga got more time during preseason with musonda's untimely injury.

 

Love the response and I'm sick of Costa acting like a victim. Get him the fuck out of here already. Morata > Costa...and it's not close. Even with Hazard and Pedro out (and MF still limited) the flow of play and linkage up front is so much better with Morata.

NBC says 3-5-2 with Willian up top and Christensen joining bakayako and kante in the midfield. I figured it would have been Luiz. Interesting

 

Bakayoko gets the start? Nice. I wonder if he can keep this debut goal streak alive.

 

How healthy are Bakayoko and Pedro?

 

I think that makes sense. A player like musonda or boga can help us keep the formation but we need to control the midfield. Not worth playing the extra player advanced if it isn't Willian, Pedro or hazard

 

Pedro isn't. He's on the bench but I doubt we see him. Bakayako no one really knows. He could have played Luiz next to kante and started boga/musonda so I would have to think he's ready to go.

Bad miss by morata but he has been good so far. Lively and great movement
