As the title says, I just saw that today would have been Farley’s 60th birthday. While I have fond memories of all the laughs he brought to me, especially with his physical comedy, one of the biggest shames in his early death was not being able to see him take his shot at dramatic roles like he wanted. I think he’d have been as brilliant at drama as he was in comedy, like Robin Williams. Could have been a second act to his career. That Fatty Arbuckle biopic he was interested in making could have been fantastic. Anyways, I just wanted to recognize Chris today and the other threads about him have all been locked and archived.
Would have been interesting to see if he would be acting in dramatic roles or hosting snake oil with Spade in the later years or doing movies with Sandler
As well they should. It's a Rumeal Robinson jersey and Rumeal famously hit 2 free throws to win the 1989 tournament. It was still part of the zeitgeist back then.
