My reasons for picking Tottenham back at the Bale sale summer was a breakthrough candidate on the cusp of competitiveness that wasn’t known for perennial success. Some room to grow. Spurs ended up filling that role well and “put the pressure on” two domestic campaigns and became Champions League regulars for a few years. Club has gone to shit.

If Haaland sticks around Dortmund, that would be a temporary situation that I could root on vs the Big Bully Bayern. He’ll leave there soon but it would be something to participate in.
