my mom said something like that to me when i had that talk with her. a) these other people who are unvaxxed arent going to be staying in my house for hours at a time and holding my daughter and stuff. there is some assumed risk obviously but they will just be passing by in a store or walking somewhere etc. b) they could be vaxxed. i don't know their medical history. the numbers in my county say likely not but they legit could be. you've straight up told us you arent so there really isnt any mystery there

If she’s a Canadian citizen she wouldn’t have had to be vaccinated but she would have had to quarantine if she’s not. I’m not sure how it’s going to work under the new rules for unvaccinated Canadians trying to fly to Canada since iirc returning home is a charter right. It’d probably be rare but there may be Canadians trying to return home from places where the vaccine progress is quite slow, so not sure what will happen with them

Wife took my first grader to her open house tonight as they start school on Wednesday. Marks are "strongly encouraged". She said 95% of parents, kids, and staff were masked. However, part of that special 5% is my kids teacher. I'm going to see what the options are for getting her moved as this person is obviously a moron on top of the health risks.
