No, it isn't. Pumping money into consumers' pockets is not going to devalue the dollar. You might not have been trying to use a scare tactic, but that's what the concept is. But at least we agree on the necessity.
dblplay1212 you started this by saying "This is probably a bad take", people are explaining why it's a bad take, and now youre arguing w them. This is why you get dumped on a lot.
people not having money(wages flattening) is a bigger issue than inflation. Do you question how we’re going to pay for this as well?
Talking Head can't help himself. Being a cunt is truly what feels natural to him. Even during a Pandemic
Don’t worry about inflation, I’m putting together a group of people that will spend all our money on tubas and when inflation shows up we will play our tuba until inflation leaves. I’m extending a personal invitation to dblplay1212 and Iron Mickey to join me in purchasing and playing tubas to scare away threats.
I had this argument with a woman on faculty senate. She was saying to wait for the CDC to announce concerns-- but didn't seem to appreciate that it's a hamstrung office.
I heard there is going to be a cap on income regarding who gets the govt checks. If so, how would they know how much someone makes? The last tax filings were for 2018 and even if it was off of current payroll, many people are taking reductions or out of work entirely.
You can think sending $6k tons family that made a million last month is a good idea. I'll disagree with it.
Of course. It’s a great pain killer and IME the most effective muscle relaxant, period. But not something that everyone is comfortable doing.
I dont care to play the circle game w this, so this is purely a hypothetical question - but if you disagree, then why do you think it was probably a bad take?
I think it’s easier/cheaper/more efficient to send everyone $6k and then add a line to the 2020 1040 form that says “subtract Coronavirus income from line 19” than it is to create an elaborate system of bureaucracy to police who gets the money and whether they really need it.
YMMV, and that’s actually one of the downsides. It’s not standardized or consistent across a group of users. Yeah it’s good for pain, but I’m reflecting my comparison to years on oxy and stronger opis.
correct, biggest downsides are unregulated and and not standardized for potency. Aside from that if you have a good supplier that you trust it can be very valuable. I use LI Herbals and they are inexpensive and reliable.
Employees from publicly traded companies who are also seeking bailouts are currently directing government officials.
The current house write up says: This provision would also prevent payments from going to millionaires and billionaires
Let's just give the country a Board of Directors and abolish the abortion festering in Washington. If we're going to live in a corporatocratic hell, skip the middlemen.
Fed Defense Procurement should have been activated at least a month ago to ramp this up. I haven't read anything about N95 manufacturing ceilings, but we are running out of those fast.
I still can’t believe corporations aren’t building hospitals, making ventilators, producing PPE, etc. at mass scale. in two weeks, this country is going to look a lot different. A lot of people seem to STILL be underestimating what is coming.
Instead of 6k to every citizen, let’s just change it to 20k for every Caucasian American who makes > 100k -Shadow task force
